Եվրահանձնաժողովը որոշել Է խստացնել կապի ծառայությունների վերահսկողությունը, որն իրականացվում Է այնպիսի հավելվածների միջոցով, ինչպիսիք են Skype-ը եւ WhatsApp-ը: Այս մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է«Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Financial Times թերթը:

Եվրամիության փաստաթղթերի համաձայն՝ որը ձեռք Է բերել հրատարակությունը, այդ անվճար մեսենջեր-հավելվածները, որոնք ԱՄՆ-ից կառավարվում են Facebook սոցիալական ցանցերի ընկերության եւ Microsoft կորպորացիայի կողմից, ապագայում պետք Է համապատասխանեն «անվտանգության եւ գաղտնիության ապահովման պահանջներին»՝ Եվրամիության կանոնակարգերին համպատասխան:

«Եվրահանձնաժողովն այդ մասին նախնական ծանուցմամբ հանդես կգա սեպտեմբերին, իսկ ընթացիկ տարում ավելի ուշ  կոնկրետ օրենսդրական դրույթներ կհրապարակի սույն ոլորտում»,- նշել Է Financial Times-ը:
