«Ռիո-2016» Օլիմպիական խաղերում հայ մարզիկներ Արթուր Ալեքսանյանի, Սիմոն Մարտիրոսյանի, Միհրան Հարությունյանի և Գոռ Մինասյանի ձեռքբերումներն իրոք գովեստի են արժանի։ Գրանցված հաղթանակներից մեծ ոգեւորություն ապրեցին բոլորը, իսկ ԱԺ պատգամավորներից մի քանիսն Orer.am-ի հետ զրույցի ժամանակ հայտնեցին իրենց տպավորությունները։

Ինչպես նշեց պատգամավոր Լեռնիկ Ալեքսանյանը, տղաների հաղթանակներում կար վրեժի զգացում. «Հաղթանակները բավական ոգեւորիչ էին: Տղաներն իրենց գլուխները բարձր պահեցին: Կարծում եմ, որ մեր տղաների հաղթանակների մեջ կար վրեժի զգացում եւ դա իրենց շատ օգնեց, որպեսզի հաղթանակ տանեն ադրբեջանցու ու թուրքի նկատմամբ»:

Կարինե Աճեմյանն էլ նշեց, որ Արթուր Ալեքսանյանի ոսկե մեդալը բոլորիս հաղթանակն է. «Մենք բոլորս հպարտություն ապրեցինք օլիմպիական չեպիոն Արթուր Ալեքսանյանի հաղթանակով: Կարծում եմ` չկա մի հայ, ով չհպարտանա, ցնծություն չապրի, երբ տեսնում է, որ իր երկրի օլիմպիական չեմպիոնը հաղթանակ է գրանցում: Ես ազգային հերոս եմ համարում ինչպես Արթուր Ալեքսանյանին, այնպես էլ Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանին: Այս եւ մեր մյուս մեդալակիր տղաների շնորհիվ ողջ աշխարհը իմանում է, որ հայը կա, նա հաղթում է: Ես շնորհավորում եմ բոլորիս, քանի որ դա մեծ հաղթանակ էր բոլորիս համար»:

Հովհաննես Սահակյանն էլ շնորհավորեց Արթուր Ալեքսանյանին, որն արդարացրեց բոլորի սպասումները. «Բացի նրանից, որ մարզիկները լավ պատրաստված են լինում, պետք է նաեւ նրանց ուղեկից լինի հաջողությունը: Մեր մարզիկներից շատերի մոտ հենց հաջողության պակաս նկատվեց, խոսքը նաեւ Միհրան Հարությունյանի մասին է, ես նրան համարում եմ օլիմպիական չեմպիոն Նրան չուղեկցեց հաջողությունը, իսկ մրցավարներն էլ կարծես նախապես կողմնորոշում ունեին` կապված հաղթանակի հետ: Սպորտն ունի յուրահատուկ խորհուրդ, չեմպիոնները, բարձրացնելով իրենց պետության դրոշը, ամբողջ աշխարհին ցույց են տալիս տվյալ պետության դերակատարության մասին: Մենք տեսանք, որ մեր տղաները նաեւ իրենց պահվածքով մեր պետության պատիվը բարձր պահեցին, դրա ապացույցն է Ալեքսանյանի սպորտային շապիկի վրա քառօրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ զոհված մեր հերոսներից մեկի նկարը: Սա խոսում է այն մասին որ թե´ սպորտի մեջ, թե´ ռազմի դաշտում մենք ցանկանում ենք լինել արդար ու հաղթանակող»:
