Թուրքական զինված ուժերի երկրորդ տանկային շարասյունն է հատել սիրիական սահմանը:

Այս մասին, ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը, հայտնում է թուրքական «Հյուրիեթ» թերթը:

Թերթը հայտնում է, որ չի բացառվում, որ Սիրիայում այսօր եւս կշարունակվեն Եփրատ գետի արեւմտյան ափը սիրիացի քրդերի վերահսկողությունից ազատելու ռազմական գործողությունները, որոնք Անկարան իրագործում է «Եփրատի վահան» անվան տակ:

Երեկ Թուրքիայի զինված ուժերի տանկային ստորաբաժումները, սիրիական Ջարաբլուս քաղաքը «Իսլամական պետություն» (ԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման մարտիկներից մաքրելու պատրվակով, միջազգային ուժերի կոալիցիայի ինքնաթիռների աջակցությամբ ձեռնամուխ են եղել Եփրատի աջ ափում սիրիացի քրդերի ստորաբաժանումների վերահսկողությունը վերացնելու ռազմական գործողություններին:

Թուրքական աղբյուրները հայտնում են, որ Ջարաբլուս քաղաքն ամբողջությամբ անցել է թուրքական բանակի եւ սիրիական ընդդիմության վերահսկողության տակ:

Ինչպես երեւում է` ԱՄՆ-ի, Ռուսաստանի եւ Իրանի թողտվությամբ Անկարան սկսել է իրագործել Սիրիայի հյուսիսում Թուրքիայի հետ սահմանում 900 կմ երկարությամբ եւ 90 կմ խորությամբ այսպես կոչված «անվտանգության գոտու» ստեղծմանը, որով նախատեսվում է վերացնել այդտեղ սիրիացի քրդերի ինքնավարություն ստեղծելու հնարավորությունը եւ գոտին վերահսկել թուրքական զինված ուժերի կողմից` ինչը, փաստորեն, Թուրքիայի կողմից ինքնիշխան Սիրիայի տարածքի բռնազավթում է նշանակում:
