Իրանում ՀՀ դեսպան Արտաշես Թումանյանն օգոստոսի 28-29-ը աշխատանքային այցով գտնվում էր Սպահանի նահանգում, որտեղ հանդիպումներ է ունեցել նահանգապետ Ռասուլ Զարգարփուրի, Սպահանի քաղաքապետ Մեհդի Ջամալինեժադի, Սպահանի համալսարանի ռեկտոր Հուշանգ Թալեբիի, Իրանի ռադիոհեռուստատեսության Սպահանի կառույցի գլխավոր տնօրեն Մասուդ Ահմադի Աֆզադիի, Սպահանի առևտրի, արդյունաբերության, հանքերի և գյուղատնտեսության պալատի նախագահ Աբդալվահաբ Սահլաբադիի հետ:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից, Սպահանի նահանգապետի հետ հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է կատարվել հայ-իրանական բարեկամական հարաբերություններին և հայ համայնքի դերակատարությանը: Քննարկվել են Սպահան նահանգի հետ տնտեսական, մշակութային համագործակցության ընդլայնմանն առնչվող հարցեր և այդ ուղղությամբ ձեռնարկվելիք անհրաժեշտ քայլերը: Դեսպան Թումանյանը ներկայացրել է հայ-իրանական տնտեսական հնարավորությունները, որոնք ստեղծվել են ԵԱՏՄ-ին Հայաստանի անդամակցությամբ, ընդգծել միջմարզային համագործակցության զարգացման կարևորությունը:

Նահանգապետ Զարգարփուրն իր հերթին ներկայացրել է Սպահան նահանգի արդյունաբերական հնարավորությունները` կարևորելով, մասնավորապես, զբոսաշրջության բնագավառում հայկական կողմի հետ համագործակցությունը, մարդկանց միջև շփումների ակտիվացման անհրաժեշտությունը: Այս համատեքստում գոհունակությամբ արձանագրվել է, որ մի քանի ամիս է, ինչ գործում է ուղիղ օդային հաղորդակցություն Երևանի և Սպահանի միջև:

Սպահանի քաղաքապետ Մեհդի Ջամալինեժադի հետ զրույցի ընթացքում արձանագրվել է, որ Երևանը և Սպահանը, որպես քույր քաղաքներ, պետք է խորացնեն մշակութային և հումանիտար համագործակցությունը՝ հասարակություններին ներկայացնելով երկու քաղաքների հարուստ պատմամշակութային ժառանգությունը: Քննարկվել են Երևանում և Սպահանում փոխադարձ մշակույթի շաբաթներ անցկացնելու, ինչպես նաև զբոսաշրջությունը զարգացնելու հնարավորությունները:

Սպահանի համալսարան այցի շրջանակներում ռեկտոր Հուշանգ Թալեբին դեսպան Թումանյանին ներկայացրել է համալսարանի և օտար լեզուների ֆակուլտետում գործող հայոց լեզվի և գրականության ամբիոնի գործունեությունը: Կարևորվել է ուսանողների, դասախոսների փոխանակման ծրագրերի, ինչպես նաև գիտակրթական և հետազոտական նախագծերի իրականացումը:

Իրանի ռադիոհեռուստատեսության Սպահանի կառույցի գլխավոր տնօրեն Մասուդ Ահմադի Աֆզադիի հետ հանդիպմանը շեշտվել է լրատվամիջոցների միջև համագործակցության կարևորությունը՝ փոխադարձ ճանաչողության մակարդակի բարձրացման, մշակույթի և հումանիտար կապերի ամրապնդման առումով:

Սպահանի առևտրի, արդյունաբերության, հանքերի և գյուղատնտեսության պալատի նախագահ Աբդալվահաբ Սահլաբադիի հետ քննարկվել են առևտրատնտեսական հարաբերությունների զարգացմանն առնչվող հարցերը: Ընդգծվել է Հայաստանի առևտրային ռեժիմների (ԵԱՏՄ, GSP+ և այլն) շնորհիվ իրանցի գործարարների համար համապատասխան արտաքին շուկաների հասանելիությունը: ՀՀ դեսպանը ներկայացրել է ՀՀ արտաքին տնտեսական քաղաքականությունը և ներդրումային հնարավորությունները:

Աշխատանքային այցի ընթացքում դեսպան Թումանյանը այցելել է նաև նահանգի արդյունաբերական ձեռնարկություններ, որտեղ քննարկել է Հայաստանում ներդրումներ կատարելու հնարավորությունները:

ՀՀ դեսպանը հանդիպել է նաև Սպահանի հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչների հետ, այցելել Նոր Ջուղայի ազգային առաջնորդարան:
