Հայաստանը բարձր է գնահատում Ճապոնիայի հավասարակշռված դիրքորոշումը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է Արմենպրեսը, Ազգային ժողովում ճապոնացի վայելչագրողների աշխատանքների ցուցադրությունից հետո լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ ՀՀ ԱԺ Հայաստան-Ճապոնիա բարեկամական խմբի ղեկավար Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը: «Մենք ա կնկալում ենք, որ Ճապոնիան այսուհետև ևս ըմբռնողական մոտեցում կունենա և աջակցություն կհայտնի Հայաստանի համար կենսական նշանակություն ունեցող հարցերի բոլոր ուղղություններով»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Ֆարմանյանը:

Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց Ճապոնիայի բարեկամ ժողովրդին և կառավարությանը Հայաստանի անկախությունից ի վեր տրամադրած կես միլիարդ դոլարը գերազանցող ուղղակի աջակցության համար, Հայաստանում բարեփոխումների իրականացմանը ցուցաբերած ահռելի աջակցության համար, քննարկման օրակարգում դրված մի քանի առանցքային ծրագրերի շուրջ դրական տրամադրվածության համար:

Ամփոփելով խոսքը՝ Սամվել Ֆարմանյանը նշեց, որ հայ և ճապոնացի ժողովուրդները ունեն մի շարք ընդհանրություններ: «Մեր երկրները ունեն ընդհանրություններ՝ կապված  և պատմաաշխարհագրական միջավայրի, պատմության ընթացքում եղած տարատեսակ մարտահրավերների, դրանց հաղթահարման գործում ունեցած սակավ ռեսուրսների, մարդկային ռեսուրսին ապավինելու կարողության հետ: Այս ամենը շատ կարևոր հիմք է մեր բարեկամության համար: Մենք շատ ուրախ ենք նկատել, որ ընդամենը մի քանի տարվա մեջ հայ-ճապոնական հարաբերությունները նշանակալի առաջընթաց են ապրել»,- եզրափակեց պատգամավորը:
