Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության հարցում տարածքների հանձնման մասին խոսակցությունները ՀՀԿ պատգամավոր Գագիկ Մելիքյանը ժողովրդի մեջ տարածված վտանգավոր խայծ է համարում:

ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության քարտուղար Գագիկ Մելիքյանը, օգոստոսի 31-ին հրավիրված մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ անդրադառնալով ԼՂ հա կամարտության հարցում տարածքների հանձնման մասին խոսակցություններին, նշեց, որ դրանք հատուկ նպատակներով են տարածվել, որպեսզի հայ ժողովրդի որոշակի հատվածների միջև տարաձայնություններ մտցվի:

«Կարծում եմ հայ ժողովրդի համար ցավոտ հարց է: Համոզված եմ, որ նմանատիպ հարցերը, բանակցային գործընթացի 25 տարիների ընթացքում միշտ բարձրացվել են Ադրբեջանի կամ այլ երկրների կողմից: Տարածքներ հանձնելու հետ կապված երբևէ մեր կողմից միտում չի կարող լինել: Հաճախ նման հայտարարություններ հնչեցնողները նշում են, որ հիմքեր ունեն` չբացահայտելով դրանք: Սա, կարծում եմ, թուրք-ադրբեջանական երկրների կողմից ներկրված խայծ է:

Վերջին հանդիպումներում ՀՀ նախագահը շատ հստակ բարձրացրեց մեզ հուզող հարցերը` ԼՂ ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման հարցը, ԼՂ ժողովրդի անվտանգության միջազգային երաշխիքների ապահովման հարցը: Այլ հարցեր մեզ համար գոյություն չունեն»,- նշեց հանրապետական պատգամավորը:

 Մելիքյանի խոսքով` առանց փոխզիջումների որևէ բանակցային գործընթաց չի լինում, սակայն ադրբեջանական կողմից առայժմ որևէ առաջարկություններ չկան:
