Այս գիշեր մահացել է Մատենադարանի տնօրեն Հրաչյա Թամրազյանը:

NEWS.am-ի թղթակցին Մատենադարանից հայտնեցին, որ Թամրազյանն ուներ ծանր հիվանդություն, երկար ժամանակ բուժվում էր:

Հայ բանաստեղծ, թարգմանիչ Հրաչյա Թամրազյանը ծնվել էր 1953թ. դեկտեմբերի 5-ին: 1977 թ. աշխատանքի է անցել  Մատենադարանում` նախ որպես ավագ լաբորանտ, ապա կրտսեր ու ավագ գիտաշխատող։ 1988-91 թթ. Հրաչյա Թամրազյանը աշխատել է «Սովետական գրող» հրատարակչությունում՝ որպես գլխավոր խմբագիր, իսկ 1991-93 թթ. զբաղեցրել է «Նաիրի›› հրատարակչության տնօրենի պաշտոնը։ 1993 թ. նշանակվել է ՀՀ կառավարությանն առընթեր Հրատարակչական գործերի վարչության պետ, իսկ 1995-1997 թթ. ղեկավարել է ՀՀ Տեղեկատվության նախարարությունը։

Հրաչյա Թամրազյանը 1997-2007 թթ. համատեղությամբ աշխատել է որպես «Նաիրի» հրատարակչության տնօրեն և Մատենադարանի ավագ գիտաշխատող։ 1999 թ. ստացել է բանասիրական գիտությունների դոկտորի գիտական աստիճան։ 2007 թվականից զբաղեցնում է Մատենադարանի տնօրենի պաշտոնը։ 2014 թվականից Հայաստանի գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի թղթակից անդամ է:

Թամրազյանը բազմաթիվ մենագրությունների և գիտական հոդվածների ու ուսումնասիրությունների հեղինակ է։ Նրա ուսումնասիրությունները հիմնականում առնչվում են միջնադարագիտության՝ մասնավորապես նարեկացիագիտության բնագավառին։
