Տեղի են ունեցել շախմատի  համաշխարհային 42-րդ օլիմպիադայի 4-րդ տուրի հանդիպումները:

«Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով Հայաստանի շախմատի ֆեդերացիայի լրատվության բաժինը,ներկայացնում է գրանցված արդյունքները.

Տղամարդկանց մրցաշարի կենտրոնական մրցախաղում միմյանց դեմ մրցում էին Ուկրաինայի և Ռուսաստանի հավաքականները: Լարված մրցախաղում ուժեղ գտնվեց Ուկրաինայի հավաքականը: 4-րդ տուրում միավոր կորցրեց նաև ԱՄՆ-ի հավաքականը, որը չկարողացավ առավելության հասնել Չեխիայի նկատմամբ. մրցախաղն ավարտվեց 2-2 հաշվով: Խաղացված 4 տուրերից հետո 6 հավաքական` Չինաստանը, Ադրբեջանը, Հոլանդիան, Բելառուսը, Ուկրաինան և Հնդկաստանը, վաստակել են 8-ական միավոր և գլխավորում են մրցաշարային աղյուսակը: 5-րդ տուրում կենտրոնական են լինելու Ուկրաինա-Չինաստան, Հոլանդիա-Բելառուս և Ադրբեջան-Հնդկաստան մրցախաղերը:

Կանանց մրցաշարում Ռուսաստանի և Ուկրաինայի հավաքականները տարան հերթական հաղթանակները: Այժմ այս երկու հավաքականները, ինչպես նաև Սերբիայի և Ղազախստանի ընտրանիները վաստակել են 8-ական միավոր և գլխավորում են մրցաշարային աղյուսակը: Կանանց մրցաշարում անակնկալ արդյունք գրանցվեց Լատվիա-Չինաստան մրցախաղում, որտեղ աշխարհի կանանց չեմպիոնուհի Հոու Յիֆանը պարտվեց Դանա Ռեզնիցե-Օզոլային, ով բացի այն, որ գլխավորում է Լատվիայի կանանց հավաքականը, զբաղեցնում նաև է Լատվիայի ֆինանսների նախարարի պաշտոնը: 5-րդ տուրում կենտրոնական են լինելու Սերբիա-Ուկրաինա և Ռուսաստան-Ղազախստան մրցախաղերը:
