Ազգային ժողովի ՀՅԴ խմբակցության քարտուղար Աղվան Վարդանյանը ՀՀ վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանի հրաժարականը պայմանավորում է պետության առջև ծառացած խնդիրները լուծելու համար կառավարության գործունեությանը նոր որակ հաղորդելու անհրաժեշտությամբ: Ազգային ժողովում լրագրողների հետ զրույցում պատգամավորն ընդգծեց, որ բոլոր այն խ նդիրները, որոնք ծառացել են պետության առջև, ձևակերպված են նոր Սահմանադրությամբ, ՀՀ նախագահի՝ փետրվարի 12-ի ծրագրային ելույթում: «Դրված են խնդիրներ, որոնք ենթադրում են որակական, արմատական փոփոխություններ: Կարծում եմ, որ  նպատակը սա է՝ նոր որակ հաղորդել կառավարության գործունեությանը»,- նշեց Վարդանյանը:

Հարցին՝ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը չէ՞ր կարողանում ;ուծել առկա խնդիրները, Աղվան Վարդանյանը պատասխանեց. «Կարծում եմ, որ յուրաքանչյուր ժամանակ իր խնդիրներն է առաջ բերում և այդ խնդիրները լուծելու համար անհրաժեշտ են նոր մարդիկ, նոր կառավարություն: Պարոն Աբրահամյանը կառավարության ղեկավարումը ստանձնեց բավականին բարդ ժամանակահատվածում: Ես միշտ կողմնակից եմ նրան, որ պարտադիր չէ, անպայման, գնացողի հետևից վատը խոսել: Ես կարծում եմ, որ նա կարողացավ այս երկու տարիների ընթացքում իր հիմնական գործառույթը իրականացնել. համեմատաբար սահուն աշխատեց, երբ կառավարությունը գործում էր դժվարին պայմաններում»:

Անդրադառնալով վարչապետի պաշտոնում Երևանի նախկին քաղաքապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանի հնարավոր նշանակմանը՝ Աղվան Վարդանյանը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ նա եռանդուն, կազմակերպական մեծ կարողություններ և ժամանակակից մտածողություն ունեցող անձնավորություն է:  Համոզված եմ, որ նա այս նոր փուլում կկարողանա համախմբված աշխատանքով երկրում դրական սպասումներ առաջացնել: Սա վարչապետի հերթական փոփոխությունն է, սակայն ես կարծում եմ, որ այս փուլում անհրաժեշտ են նոր մոտեցումներ, անհրաժեշտ է նոր որակի կառավարություն: Կան ձևավորված, հստակ դրված խնդիրներ, խաղի կանոններ, և այդ խնդիրները իրագործելու համար, ես կարծում եմ, որ նոր վարչապետը կկարողանա լավ թիմ ձևավորել և աշխատել»,- ասաց նա:

Պատգամավորը վստահություն հայտնեց, որ ՀՅԴ-ն կպահպանի իր նախարարական պորտֆելները: «Համոզված եմ, որ մեր նախարարները կշարունակեն պաշտոնավարել, որովհետև ես տեսնում եմ, որ մեր երեք նախարարները գիշեր-ցերեկ աշխատում են, խնդիրներ են ձևակերպում և փորձում են լուծումներ գտնել:  Ես շատ գոհ եմ բոլորի աշխատանքից»,- ընդգծեց Վարդանյանը:

Խոսելով ազգային համաձայնության կառավարության մասին, որի ձևավորման մասին իր վերջին ելույթում խոսել էր ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը՝ Աղվան Վարդանյանը կարծիք հայտնեց, որ ազգային համաձայնության իրական կառավարություն կձևավորվի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից հետո՝ նոր Սահմանադրության պայմաններում: Պատգամավորը վստահություն հայտնեց, որ  հաջորդ խորհրդարանում որևէ քաղաքական ուժ չի ունենալու բացարձակ մեծամասնություն և այդ ժամանակ  իսկապես կարելի կլինի խոսել համաձայնության կառավարության մասին, որտեղ ցանկացած հարց լուծվելու է բանավեճերի և քննարկումների արդյունքում, և որևէ քաղաքական ուժ չի թելադրելու իր կամքը:
