 Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը սեպտեմբերի 14-ին հեռախոսազրույց է ունեցել ՌԴ կառավարության ղեկավար Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևի հետ: Վարչապետը շնորհավորել և բարեմաղթանքներ է հղել Ռուսաստանի իր գործընկերոջը ծննդյան օրվա առթիվ:  Այս մասին  տեղեկացրին ՀՀ կառավարության տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

Կարեն Կարապետյանը բարձր է գնահատել Դ. Մեդվեդևի անձնական ներդրումը Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև դաշնակցային փոխգործակցության զարգացման գործում, որը հիմնված է երկու երկրների ժողովուրդների բարեկամության վրա: ՀՀ վարչապետը կարևորել է ՀՀ և ՌԴ կառավարությունների ակտիվ համագործակցությունը և երկկողմ առևտրատնտեսական կապերի խորացումը՝ ի շահ հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացման և ամրապնդման թե´ երկկողմ, թե´ բազմակողմ ձևաչափով, այդ թվում նաև՝ Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության շրջանակում:
