ԵՄ անդամ երկրների թիվը գնալով ավելի է նոսրանում, իսկ ներսում առկա տարաձայնություններն ավելի խորանում են:

Die Welt պարբերականին տված հարցազրույցում Լյուքսեմբուգի ԱԳ նախարար Ժան Ասելբորնը Հունգարիային ԵՄ-ի կազմից բացառելու կոչով է հանդես եկել՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հունգարիայի քաղաքականությունը հակասում է Եվրոպական միության կողմից ընդունված համընդհանուր արժեքներին: Ասելբորնը հայտնել է, որ ԵՄ-ն չի կարող հաշտվել այն բանի հետ, որ Հունգարիան սահմանափակումներ է կիրառում փախստականների նկատմամբ, սահմանափակում է լրատվամիջոցների ազատությունն ու դատական իշխանությունների անկախությունը: Ասելբորնի կարծիքով՝ Հունգարիային մեկ քայլ է մնացել սահմանը հատել փորձող փախստականներին «կրակելուց»:

Նման հայտարարություններից հետո Հունգարիայի ԱԳ նախարար Պետեր ՍիյարտոնԼյուքսեմբուգի ԱԳ նախարարին թեթևամիտ մարդ է որակել: Սիյարտոն քննադատել է Լյուքսեմբուրգի ԱԳՆ-ի՝ Հունգարիային ԵՄ կազմից դուրս մղելու կոչը: Նա մասնավորապես հայտնել է. «Անցած տարի Ժան Ասելբորնն արդեն ցույց է տվել, որ ինքը մակերեսային մտածող է: Նա դասական նիհիլիստ է, ով անընդհատ աշխատում է Եվրոպայի անվտանգությունն ու մշակույթը ոչնչացնելու ուղղությամբ: Հունգարիան իր ձայնը լսելի դարձնելու իրավունք ունի և միայն մենք կարող ենք որոշել թե ում հետ են ուզում ապրել, և ոչ մի բյուրոկրատ՝ ներառյալ Լյուքսեմբուրգի ԱԳ նախարարը, չի կարող մեզ զրկել այդ իրավունքից»:

ԳերմանիայիԱԳ նախարար Ֆրանկ-ՎալտերՇտայնմայերը ևս մեկնաբանել է այս իրադարձությունները: Վերջինս չի սատարել Հունգարիային ԵՄ-ի կազմից դուրս թողնելու մասին Լյուքսեմբուրգի իր գործընկերոջ հայտարարությանը: Շտայնմայերը հայտնել է, որ եվրոպայի անդամ-պետությանը դուռը ցույց տալը իր անձնական գործը չէ՝ հավելելով, որ Լյուքսեմբուրգի ԱԳ նախարարի կոչը համաձայնեցված դիրքորոշում չէ: Նա հավելել է. «Հասկանալի է, որ Հունգարիայի պարագայում Եվրոպական որոշ պետություններ կորցնում են իրենց համբերությունը Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովի և Հունգարիայի կառավարության միջև անընդհատ ընթացող բանավեճերից»:

Եվրոպական խորհրդարանի սոցիալիստների և դեմոկտրատների խմբակցության առաջնորդ Ջաննի Պիտտելլան ևս կարծում է, որ Հունգարիային չի կարելի դուրս թողնել ԵՄ կազմից:

ԵՄ պաշտոնյաները գրեթե համակարծիք են, որ Հունգարիային ԵՄ կազմից բացառելը իրատեսական ու նպատակային քայլ չէ, սակայն վերջիններս համակարծիք են նաև այն հարցում, որ Հունգարիան անխնա ոտնահարում է եվրոպական բոլոր համընդհանուր արժեքները:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Հունգարիանա այն պետությունն է, որ գումարային և այլ գործարքների արդյունքում Ադրբեջանին արտահանձնեց հայ սպային դաժանորեն կացնահարած ադրբեջանցի Ռամիլ Սաֆարովին և հերթական անգամ ապացուցեց, որ եվրոպական արժեքները, հիրավի, առաջնահերթություն չեն հանդիսանում իրենց համար:
