 Հայաստանի անկախության 25-ամյակի կապակցությամբ սեպտեմբերի 21-ին Տոկիոյի «Օկուրա» հյուրանոցի սրահում Ճապոնիայում ՀՀ դեսպանությունը կազմակերպել է պաշտոնական ընդունելություն: Այս մասին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարության մամուլի, տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապի վարչությունից:

Միջոցառման հյուրերին ողջունեց Ճապոնիայում ՀՀ դեսպան Հրանտ Պողոսյանը, ով իր խոսքում, մասնավորապես, անդրադարձավ անկախ Հայաստանի ձեռքբերումներին և երկրի հետագա զարգացման ծրագրերին: Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար խորհրդանշական այս հոբելյանի համատեքստում դեսպան Պողոսյանը գոհունակություն հայտնեց հայ-ճապոնական սերտացող փոխգործակցության կապակցությամբ, որի խորհրդանիշերից մեկը դարձավ սեպտեմբերի 16-ին Տոկիոյի կենտրոնական պուրակներից մեկում տեղադրված «Բարեկամության խաչքարը»: Դեսպանը համոզմունք հայտնեց, որ վերջերս իրականացված նախաձեռնությունները և ակտիվ փոխայցելությունները նոր խթան կհանդիսանան հայ-ճապոնական համագործակցությունն առավել խորացնելու համար:

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության ղեկավարությանը, հայ ժողովրդին և հյուրերին իրենց շնորհավորական ուղերձները հղեցին նաև Ճապոնիա-Հայաստան խորհրդարանական բարեկամության խմբի գլխավոր քարտուղար Շունիչի Սուզուկին և «Ճապոնիա-Հայաստան գործարար և մշակութային նախաձեռնության» նախագահ Յասումինե Սատակեն:

Ընդունելությանը ներկա էին Ճապոնիայի Ազգային ժողովի, կառավարության, պետական այլ գերատեսչությունների ներկայացուցիչներ, Ճապոնիայում հավատարմագրված դիվանագիտական ներկայացուցչությունների ղեկավարներ, դիվանագետներ, «Ճապոնիա-Հայաստան գործարար և մշակութային նախաձեռնության», Ճապոնիա-Հայաստան ընկերակցության, Ճապոնիա-հայկական բարեկամության միության անդամներ, գործարարներ, արվեստագետներ, լրագրողներ և հայ համայնքի ներկայացուցիչներ:
