Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «Նախկին վարչապետ Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը չի հանձնել իրեն ուղեկցող պետական պահպանության ծառայության փարոսիկներով (միգալկաներով) մեքենաներից մեկը (նկարում): Անցած օրերին այդ մեքենան կանգնած էր Հաղթանակ զբոսայգու հարեւանությամբ գտնվող նրա առանձնատան բակում։ Վարչապետ եղած ժամանակ, երբ Աբրահամյանը տանն էր լինում եւ պատրաստվում էր դուրս գալ, նրան ուղեկցող այդ մեքենաները սովորաբար դրսում այգու հարակից տարածքում էին սպասում։

Մենք երեկ փորձեցինք կառավարությունից պաշտոնական մեկնաբանություն ստանալ, թե Հովիկ Աբրահամյանը Կարեն Կարապետյանին փոխանցե՞լ է վարչապետին ուղեկցող մեքենաները, բայց ողջ օրվա ընթացքում մեզ այդպես էլ պատասխան չտրվեց։

Հիշեցնենք, 2011թ. նոյեմբերին էլ, երբ Աբրահամյանը հրաժարական էր տվել ԱԺ նախագահի պաշտոնից, ԱԺ նախագահին ուղեկցող 2 մեքենաներից մեկը չէր հանձնել։ Այն ժամանակ մամուլում հրապարակումներ եղան, թե նա Սերժ Սարգսյանին ուղղակի խնդրել է թույլ տալ այդ մեքենան մնա իր մոտ եւ իրեն ուղեկցի:

Ավելին, այն ժամանակ, խոսվում էր, որ Աբրահամյանը գնել էր ԱԺ նախագահի ծառայողական մեքենայի թանկարժեք կրկնօրինակը, բայց արդեն՝ զրահապատ: Նա անգամ այդ մեքենայի վրա համարանիշ չէր կպցնում, որի իրավունքը ունեն ընդամենը մի քանի բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներ: Եվ երբ նա այդ եւ ուղեկցող մեքենայով հայտնվում էր փողոցում, տպավորություն էր ստեղծվում, թե ԱԺ նախագահն է անցնում:

Իհարկե, շատ դժվար է հրաժարական տալ վարչապետի պաշտոնից եւ հետագա պաշտոնավարման որեւէ հույս չունենալ: Բայց որպես այդ ամենի մխիթարանք՝ գոնե կարելի է ունենալ ուղեկցող միգալկաներով մեքենա, որ երթեւեկության մեջ գտնվողն մարդիկ տեսնեն ու հասկանան, որ անցնողը շարքային մարդ չէ:

Ի դեպ, մեր տեղեկություններով՝ Աբրահամյանն արդեն վերադարձել է Դուբայից, որտեղ նա մեկնել էր պաշտոնանկությունից անմիջապես հետո»:
