«Մենք պետք Է մտածենք այն մասին, թե ինչպես վերականգնենք ավերված կամուրջներն աբխազների ու վրացիների, օսերի ու վրացիների միջեւ, եւ բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով, քայլ առ քայլ շարժվենք դեպի այդ նպատակը, որպեսզի վերամիավորենք երկիրը եւ վերադարձնենք միասնությունը երկրի զարգացման համար եւ այն բանի համար, որ մենք բոլորս ապրենք որպես եղբայրներ»,-հայտարարել Է վարչապետը՝ ելույթ ունենալով հակամարտության զոհերի հուշահամալիրին ծաղկեպսակներ դնելու ժամանակ:
