1.Առաջին անգամ ջինսե կտորեղենի մասին հիշատակվում է XVI դարի Անգլիայի նավահանգստային գրքերի մեջ: Այդ ժամանակ ջինսե կտորը ներկրում էին Գենուայից, հետագայում այն սկսեցին արտադրել նաև Եվրոպայում:

2. Ջինսերը հատուկ կտորից են պատաստվում: Այն թելերի հատուկ հյուսվածք ունի: Արտաքին կողմից այն ներկված է, իսկ ներքին կողմից՝ ոչ:
