Բարսելոնայի հոսպիտալի կլինիկայի Գիտնականների նոր հետազոտությունների ընթացքում ուսումնասիրվել էին հազարավոր կանայք և տղամարդիկ։ Մասնակիցները պատմում էին իրենց սեռական փորձի, երեխաների, աշխատանքի, եկամուտի մասին։ Արդյունքում գիտնականները պարզել են, որ անխոհեմ և ազդակային և՜ կանայք և՜ տղամարդիկ իրենց կյանքում ավելի շատ են գրավում հակառակ սեռի նորկայացուցիչներին, քան հավասարակշռված մարդիկ։

Նույնիսկ բնավորության այն գծերը, որոնք մենք անցանկալի ենք համարում, օրինակ՝ նյարդայնությունը կամ ազդակայնությունը, ավելի հաճախ հանդիպում էին հաջողակ կանանց և տղամարդկանց մոտ։ Գիտնականների կարծիքով սա տեղի է ունենում, որովհետև այս հատկանիշները չեն ենթարկվում բնական ընտրության տեսությանը, այլ իրականում էվոլյուցիոն առավելություն են տալիս։

Ինչպես նշեց հետազոտության հեղինակ Ֆերնանդո Գուտյերեսը՝ գոյություն ունեն որոշակի հատկություններ, որոնք պատասխանատում են Ձեր երկարատև հաջողության համար և որոնք գրավում են հակառակ սեռը։

Օրինակ՝ մոլեգին-հարկադրական  մարդիկ հաճախ շատ հաջողակ են հարաբերություններում, որովհետև «հասարակ» մարդկանց հետ համեմատած կրկնակի են վաստակում ։

Իսկ թե ինչու են կանայք սիրում հարուստ տղամարդկանց, հարկավոր չէ բացատրել։

Սակայն խնդիրը  հուսալի զուգընկեր գտնելը չէ ։ Կանայք սիրում են վատ տղաներին, որովհետև իրենք կախարդում են։ «Չնայած այս տղմարդիկ էգոիստ են, ռիսկային, անխոհեմ, նրանք նույնպես քաջ են, անկախ և ինքնավստահ՝ իրենք ապրում են կյանքի խելագար ռիթմի ներքո»,- բացատրում է Գուտյերեսը։

Ընդհանուր առմամբ, վատ տղան  զվարճալի է։ Լավ տղաները չեն կարող այդքան սուր զգացողություններ առաջարկել։

Հետաքրքիր է, որ 2012 թ․ մեկ այլ հետազոտությունը հայտնաբերեց , որ ձվազատման  ժամանակաշրջանում կանանց ավելի են գրավում սեքսուալ և ապստամբ տղամարդիկ՝ Ջորջ Քլունիի և Ջեյմս Բոնդի տիպարները։ «Հորմոնալ փոփոխությունների ներքո կանայք խաբվում են՝ մտածելով, որ սեքսուալ և վատ տղամարդիկ հավատարիմ  զուգընկեր և լավ հայր կլինեն։ Օվուլյացիայի ժամանակ վատ տղամարդը լավն է թվում»,- բացատրում է հետազոտության հեղինակ Քրիստինա Դուրանտեն։

Ստացվում է , որ որոշակի ժամանակ կինը պարզապես չի կարող ուշադություն չդարձնել վատ տղամարդուն ։
