Աննա Մելիքյանը հաջողակ ռեժիսոր է, «Կինոտավրի» հաղթող։ Նրա «Սիրո մասին» ֆիլմը հավանաբար ռուսական կինեմատոգրաֆիայի վերջին տարիների ամենահաջող ֆիլմերից է։ Սակայն քչերը գիտեն, որ Մելիքյանը որոշել է ոչ միայն օլիգարխ Դանիիլ Խաչատուրովի հետ իր հարաբերությունների մասին լռել, այլեւ կենսագրական աղբյուրներից ջնջել տվյալները Հայաստանում իր կյանքի, եղբայրներ՝ Առնոլդի ու Արսենի ու հոր մասին, որի հուղարկավորությանը այդպես էլ ներկա չի եղել, գրում է Life.ru–ն։

Աննայի եղբայր Առնոլդը պատմել է, որ հայրը՝ Գագիկ Մելիքյանը, բաժանվել էր առաջին կնոջից՝ ծնունդով Բաքվից Էլեոնորայից, որը նրան մեկ որդի ու մեկ դուստր էր պարգեւել՝ Արսենին ու Աննային։ Հետո Գագիկը հանդիպել էր Առնոլդի մորը՝ Սոֆիային։

Ծնողների ամուսնալուծությունից հետո Աննան ապրել է երկու քաղաքների միջեւ՝ Բաքվի ու Երեւանի։ Գագիկ Մելիքյանի երկու ամուսնություններից ծնված երեխաները ամեն ամառ մի քանի օր միասին են անցկացրել նրա քաղաքամերձ տանը։

«Հայրս շատ էր աշխատում։ Նա միշտ կառավարական պաշտոններ է զբաղեցրել։ Սկզբում եղել է զենքի գաղտնի գործարանի ղեկավար, հետո նրան գորգագործության պետական ֆաբրիկայի գլխավոր տնօրեն նշանակեցին։ Մեր ընտանիքը նյութապես ապահովված էր։ Մենք ապրում էինք բնակարանում, իսկ ամառը անցկացնում մեր ամառանոցում, ուր գալիս էին նաեւ Անյան ու Արսենը։ Մայրս բարյացակամ էր տրամադրված հորս առաջին ընտանիքի հանդեպ ու միշտ ասում էր, որ երեխաները ոչնչի համար մեղավոր չեն։ Երբ Անյան ու Արսենը մեր տուն էին գալիս, Անյան մենակ նստում էր իր սենյակում ու գրքեր կարդում, իսկ Արսենը խաղում էր բակում։ Մայրս նրանց համար ճաշ էր եփում, հոգ տանում նրանց մասին, իսկ նրանք հիմա նույնիսկ չեն զանգում նրան։ Վիրավորական է»։

1999-ին Գագիկն անսպասելիորեն մեկնում է Ամերիկա՝ ընտանիքին թողնելով Հայաստանում։

«Մեր ընտանիքի համար բարդ ժամանակաշրջան էր, չինովնիկները հետապնդում էին հորս։ Նրա տեղակալը 5 մլն դոլար էր յուրացրել, որոնք նա պետք է պետբյուջե փոխանցեր, եւ փախուստի էր դիմել։ Հայրս ԱՄՆ էր մեկնել, որպեսզի այնտեղ քաղաքական ապաստան խնդրի»։

Այդ ժամանակ Աննան արդեն վաղուց Մոսկվա էր տեղափոխվել, ընդունվել ինստիտուտ ու աշխատում էր «Մոսֆիլմ»-ում։
