Զարմանալիորեն ՊԵԿ տեղեկատվական համակարգն սկսել է «աշխատել»: Ավելին, տեղեկությունները «հարստացել են» նաև թվային մեջբերումներով: Հավանաբար, այսպիսով ՊԵԿ ղեկավարը ցանկանում է ցույց տալ հանրությանը, որ ոչ միայն տիրապետում է իր ղեկավարած ոլորտում առկա օպերատիվ իրավիճակին, այլև թվերի մասին նույնպես որոշ չափով գաղափար ունի:

Նախկինում հարկային ու մաքսային ծառայությունների աշխատանքից ստացվող պաշտոնական թվային տվյալներ ՊԵԿ-ից ստանալ ոչ միայն հնարավոր չէր, այլև անշնորհակալ «զբաղմունք» էր, քանի որ դրանք, չգիտես ինչու, պահվում էին յոթ կողպեքի տակ, իսկ լրատվամիջոցների կողմից ուղարկված նմանօրինակ հարցումները, բախվելով համակարգի «վահանի» դեր ստանձնած լրատվականի հաստ պատին, լավագույն դեպքում ավարտվում էին «փոխհրաձգությամբ»:

Բացի այդ, օրինական հարցումներին իր պատասխան՝ ՊԵԿ-ից ստացվում էին բարոյախրատական բովանդակություն ունեցող և ուղարկված հարցերի հետ որևէ աղերս չունեցող հորդոր-նամակներ, որոնց նպատակը կրկին հարկային և մաքսային գործարքների արդյունքում ստացվող մուտքերի մասին թվային տվյալները շրջանցելն էր: Երկար տարիներ նման գործելաոճը համակարգի «գործունեության» անբաժան մասն է կազմել՝ հավանաբար դրանով իսկ փորձ անելով «հասկացնել», որ թվերի խոհանոց մտնել ամեն մեկին չէ, որ կարելի է:

Այս ֆոնին նախկինում ՊԵԿ-ի որդեգրած սկզբունքի համաձայն՝ հասարակությանը տեղեկություն էր «տրամադրվում» ամենաշատը շաբաթը մեկ պարբերականությամբ, այն էլ՝ հիմնականում առանց թվերի: Բայց վերջին մի քանի շաբաթվա ընթացքում նրանց կողմից ցուցաբերած ակտիվությունը ցույց է տալիս, որ ՊԵԿ-ը համարձակություն է ձեռք բերել հրապարակել ձեռքի տակ եղած փաստերը՝ այն էլ անուններով ու թվերով:
Ասել է, թե ՊԵԿ-ը փորձ է անում ստվերից դուրս գալ և սկսել է այլ ոճով շարունակել իր աշխատանքը: Եվ հիմա արդեն համակարգի կողմից հասարակությանը պաշտոնական տեղեկատվություն է տրամադրվում ոչ թե «պտիչկա» ստանալու համար՝ շաբաթը մեկ պարբերականությամբ, այլ օրը երեք լուր հրապարակելով, այն էլ առանց տողատակերի ու տնտեսվարողների հետ լավամարդ լինելու բուռն ցանկության:

Ստացվում է, որ վարչապետի՝ ստվերի կրճատման մասին հորդորը հասել է նաև ՊԵԿ-ին, և ոլորտի ղեկավարությունը որոշել է ճկունություն ցուցաբերել և սեփական օրինակով ցույց տալ, որ հարկայինում կուտակված տեղեկությունը միայն իրենց սեփականությունը չէ: Ասել է, թե ՊԵԿ-ը նույնպես որոշել է «թափանցիկ» աշխատել, բայց դա որքանով իմիտացիոն բնույթ չի կրում, պարզ կդառնա առաջիկայում:

Հույս կա, որ դրա արդյունքում շատ այլ մութ պատմություններ նույնպես կհրապարակվեն, որով փորձ կարվի արդարացնել ոչ միայն ՊԵԿ-ի գոյությունը, այլև ցույց տալ, որ հարկայինն ու մաքսայինը ոչ թե շարունակելու են նախկինի նման դակիչի դեր կատարելով բյուջե լցնել, այլև հաշվետու լինել հասարակությանը:
