Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը Լատվիայի մայրաքաղաք Ռիգա կատարած պաշտոնական այցի շրջանակում հանդիպել է Ռիգայի քաղաքապետ Նիլ Ուշակովի հետ: Ինչպես տեղեկացրին Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի տեղեկատվության և հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից, հանդիպմանը ներկա է եղել նաև ՀՀ-ում Լատվիայի Հանրապետության պատվավոր հյուպատոս Արմեն Ղասաբօղլյանը:

Ողջունելով Երևանի գործընկերոջը` Ռիգայի քաղաքապետը նախ շնորհակալություն է հայտնել հրավերն ընդունելու և Ռիգա այցելելու համար, ապա առանձնակի կարևորելով երկու քաղաքների միջև համագործակցության ընդլայնմանն ուղղված Երևանի քաղաքապետի պատրաստակամությունն ու ջանքերը, համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ այս այցն իր հերթին կնպաստի երկու քաղաքների միջև առկա փոխգործակցության և գործընկերային կապերի էլ ավելի ամրապնդմանն ու համագործակցության շրջանակների ընդլայնմանը:

«Պարոն քաղաքապետ, ուրախ եմ կրկին ողջունելու Ձեզ Ռիգայում, ինչը ևս մեկ վկայությունն է երկու քաղաքների միջև հաստատված ջերմ ու բարեկամական հարաբերությունների: Իսկապես ողջունելի է այն փաստը, որ Երևանի և Ռիգայի միջև փոխգործակցությունը տարեցտարի գրանցում է նոր զարգացումներ, որոնց արդյունքները դառնում են տեսանելի: Այսօր միասին հանդիսավորությամբ կբացենք Ռիգայի «Երևան» այգին, որը, համոզված եմ, կդառնա մեր երկու քաղաքների հաջողված համագործակցության լավագույն վկան»,- ընդգծել է Նիլ Ուշակովը:   

Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ջերմ ընդունելության համար, Երևանի քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանն իր հերթին նկատել է, որ երկու երկրների և ժողովուրդների միջև առկա բարեկամությունն իսկապես կարևոր խթան է Երևանի և Ռիգայի բարեկամական ու գործնական հարաբերություններն էլ ավելի ամրապնդելու և զարգացնելու համար: Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Ռիգայի քաղաքային իշխանության և հայ համայնքի ջանքերով կառուցված այգու համար, քաղաքապետ Տարոն Մարգարյանը համոզմունք է հայտնել, որ այն կդառնա ինչպես Ռիգայի բնակիչների, այնպես էլ քաղաքի հյուրերի սիրված հանգստի գոտիներից մեկը:

«Երևանի համար Ռիգան իսկապես վստահելի գործընկեր է և մենք մեր պատրաստակամությունն ենք հայտնում երկուստեք փոխգործակցությունն էլ ավելի ընդլայնելու հարցում: Իսկապես ողջունելի է Ռիգայում «Երևան» անունը կրող այգու կառուցման նախաձեռնությունը, ինչը մեկ անգամ ևս փաստում է, որ մենք ունենք հաջողված ու արդյունավետ համագործակցություն: Պարոն քաղաքապետ, համոզված եմ, որ հանգստի այդ գոտին կդառնա սիրված վայր բոլորի համար և Ռիգայում կլինի Երևանի յուրօրինակ ներկայության գեղեցիկ վկայություն»,- ընդգծել է Տարոն Մարգարյանը:
