Թուրքիայի և Իրաքի միջև հարաբերությունների կարգավորման նպատակով Բաղդադից պատվիրակություն կժամանի Անկարա: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով թուրքական «Հուրիեթ» պարբերականը, այս մասին հայտնել է Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մևլութ Չավուշօղլուն:

«Այս շաբաթվա ընթացքում, հնարավոր է հինգշաբթի օրը, այս անգամ Բաղդադից պատվիրակություն կգա Թուրքիա: Երկու կողմն էլ խնդիրը երկխոսության ճանապարհով կարգավորելու կամք են դրսևորում»,- նշել է Թուրքիայի արտգործնախարարը:

Թուրքիայի և Իրաքի միջև լարված հարաբերությունները մեղմացնելու նպատակով Անկարայից Բաղդադ մեկնած թուրքական պատվիրակությունը չէր կարողացել հասնել ցանկալի արդյունքի: Այդ մասին հայտարարել էր Իրաքի արտգործնախարարության խոսնակ Ահմեթ Ջեմալը: «Թուրքական պատվիրակության կողմից առաջ քաշված մտքերը չհամապատասխանեցին Իրաքի կառավարության պահանջներին ու ակնկալիքներին: Թուրքիայի Հանրապետությունը պետք է հարգանք ցուցաբերի Իրաքի ինքնիշխանության նկատմամբ և Բաշիքայի ճամբարից դուրս բերի զինվորներին»,- ասել է Ջեմալը: Նա հայտարարել է, որ Մոսուի ազատագրման գործողությունների շրջանակում իրենք վստահում են իրաքյան զինված ուժերին և որևէ այլ, օտար միավորների օգնության կարիքը չունեն:

Թուրքիայից մեկնած պատվիրակությունը գլխավորում էր Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ քարտուղար Ումիթ Յալչընը: Պատվիրակության կազմում  էին անդամներ զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբից և ազգային հետախուզական ծառայությունից: Նրանք Բաղդադում պետք է հանդիպումներ ունենային արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունում և կառավարությունում: Օրակարգային հարցերից կարևորագույնը լինելու էր Մոսուլի ռազմական գործողությունները: Մասնավորապես, Թուրքիան առաջարկ էր ներկայացնելու մասնակցել այդ գործողություններին: Քննարկվելիք մյուս կարևոր հարցը պետք է լիներ Բաշիքայում թուրքական որամիավորումների առկայությունը և դրա հետևանքով լարված թուրք-իրաքյան հարաբերությունները:
