ԵՊՀ 77-րդ պատվավոր դոկտորի կոչման է արժանացելԴուբնայի միջուկայինհետազոտությունների միացյալինստիտուտի տնօրեն Վիկտոր Մատվեևը:Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով ԵՊՀ պաշտոնական կայքը, այս օրերին Հայաստանում անցկացվում է  «Միջուկային հետազոտությունների միացյալ ինստիտուտի օրերը Հայաստանում» խորագրով գիտաժողովը՝ նվիրված ինստիտուտի 60-ամյակին: Դրան մասնակցելու նպատակով Հայաստան է ժամանել մեծ պատվիրակություն: Պատվիրակության անդամները, ակադեմիկոս Վիկտոր Մատվեևի գլխավորությամբ, հյուրընկալվել էին նաև ԵՊՀ-ում:

Ողջունելով հյուրերին՝ ԵՊՀ ռեկտոր ԱրամՍիմոնյանը ներկայացրել է համալսարանի կառուցվածքը, գիտական գործունեությունը, ստացված արդյունքները, պատասխանել նաև ռուս գործընկերներին հետաքրքրող հարցերին: «ԵՊՀ-ի կապերը արտասահմանյան բուհերի հետ բավականին ակտիվ են, իսկ կոնկրետ Միջուկային հետազոտությունների միացյալ ինստիտուտի հետ գիտական կապերն ունեն երկար տարիների պատմություն, մեր գիտնականներից շատերին դուք ավելի հաճախ տեսնում եք Դուբնայում, քան մենք այստեղ,- կեսլուրջ-կեսկատակ նշել է պարոն Սիմոնյանն ու հավելել,- մենք շատ լաÕ ¾ հասկանում ենք, որ դա միայն նպաստում է գիտական բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը»:

 Այնուհետև ԵՊՀ գիտխորհրդի նիստերի դահլիճում ԵՊՀ ռեկտորը Վիկտոր Մատվեևին հանձնել է ԵՊՀ պատվավոր դոկտորի կոչման հավաստագիր ու ԵՊՀ ոսկե մեդալ՝ գիտության զարգացման և ՌԴ-ի ու ՀՀ-ի միջև գիտական կապերի ամրապնդման համար:

 Նշենք, որ ԵՊՀ առաջին պատվավոր դոկտորի կոչումը 1926 թ. շնորհվել է Ֆրիտյոֆ Նանսենին:  

 «Մեր 60-ամյա ինստիտուտի հիմնադրման առաջին օրերից հայ գիտնականներն ակտիվ մասնակցել են դրա կայացման ու զարգացման գործում: Իսկ մյուս տարի նշելու ենք արդեն անկախ Հայաստանի հետ համագործակցության 25-ամյակը: Մեզ համար կարևոր են ձեր երկրի հետ կապերը, և հիմա ծրագրում ենք հետագա համագործակցությունը»,-ասել է Վիկտոր Մատվեևը:

 Միջուկային հետազոտությունների միացյալ ինստիտուտը զբաղվում է միջուկային և էլեմենտար մասնիկների ֆիզիկայի խնդիրներով: Հայ գիտնականներն ակտիվ մասնակցում են ուսումնասիրություններին՝ մեծապես նպաստելով այս ոլորտների զարգացմանը նաև մեր երկրում: Ինստիտուտին անդամակցում են 18 երկրներ: Այսօր Դուբնայում աշխատում են Հայաստանից գործուղված 12 գիտնական, որոնք մասնակցում են գրեթե բոլոր խոշոր ծրագրերին:

 Միջոցառմանը մասնակցում էր նաև հայազգի գիտնական Յուրի Հովհաննիսյանը, ով հայտնաբերել է Մենդելեևի աղյուսակի 118-րդ տարրը: Այն անվանակոչվել է հենց գիտնականի անունով՝ «Օգանեսոն»: Պաշտոնական հաստատումը կլինի նոյեմբեր ամսին:
