ՀՅԴ խմբակցության ղեկավար Արմեն Ռուստամյանը լիովին հավանական է համարում Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի վերադարձը քաղաքականություն, սակայն վստահեցնում է, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի հետ իշխանությունները որևէ պայմանավորվածություն չունեն. ինչպես ինքն է ասում՝ համենայն դեպս ՀՅԴ-ի հետ այդպիսի խոսակցություններ չեն եղել:

«Չեմ բացառում, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը վերադառնա, քանի որ քաղաքականության մեջ ոչինչ բացառել չի կարելի: Ավելին՝ նրա վերադարձը շատ հավանական եմ համարում, քանի որ մենք թևակոխում ենք քաղաքական գործընթացների մի նոր փուլ, որտեղ քաղաքական ուժերը պետք է ակտիվանան»,- ԱԺ ճեպազրույցների ժամանակ հայտարարեց պատգամավորը՝ հավելելով, որ այս հանգամանքը հասկանալու համար Հարվարդի համալսարան ավարտել պետք չէ:

Պատգամավորի խոսքով՝ քաղաքական պրոցեսները շատերին են ստիպելու վերադառնալ և չի բացառվում, որ հենց այս ֆոնին էր, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանն այդպիսի հայտարարություն արեց.

«Քաղաքական դաշտն աննախադեպ ակտիվանալու է և այս ֆոնի վրա մարդը չի կարող մի կողմ քաշվել ու այդ պրոցեսներին չմասնակցել: Հակառակը՝ պետք է այդ պրոցեսների մեջ լինել»,-շեշտեց պատգամավորը:

ՀՅԴ խմբակցության ղեկավարը չի բացառում նաև ՀՅԴ-ի համագործակցությունը Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի հետ: «Մենք ողջունում ենք նրա այն մոտեցումը, որտեղ նա հայտարարեց, որ հեռանում է քաղաքականությունից՝ արյունահեղությունը կանխելու համար: Դա արդեն իսկ լուրջ առաջընթաց է և կարելի է նրա հետ համագործակցել, առանց արյուն թափելու՝ երկրում իրական փոփոխությունների հասնելու համար: Մենք որևէ խնդիր այդ առումով չենք տեսնում: Ուղղակի այն տրամաբանությունը, որն այսօր ընթացքի մեջ է դրվել, շատերին է ստիպելու ակտիվանալ, ոպեսզի սկսված պրոցեսներն արագ կյանքի կոչվեն, որովհետև դրա կարիքն իսկապես մեր երկիրն ունի»:

Հարցին, թե քաղաքական դաշտն ունի՞ Ծառուկյանի կարիքը, Ռուստամյանն ասաց, թե Ծառուկյանի կարիքն ունի իր շրջապատը և այն մարդիկ, ում ինքն իր բարեգործություններով օգնում է: Ռուստամյանն ընդգծեց, որ Հայաստանում շատ են ծալված էջեր եղել, որոնք բացվել, ծալվել ու նորից են փակվել. «Զարմանալու ոչինչ չկա»,- եզրափակեց պատգամավորը:
