Լեոնիդ Ագուտինն ու Անժելիկա Վարումը սկսեցին հանդիպել հեռավոր 1997թ․-ին և դարձան ռուսական շոու-բիզնեսի ամենագեղեցիկ ու ամենակայուն զույգը։ Այսպես, Լոենիդն անգամ գաղափար չուներ, որ իր կինը դեռևս 1993թ․-ին նկարահանվել է բաց տեսահոլովակում, որտեղ երգում էր թափանցիկ զգեստով՝ առանց ներքնաշորերի։
 
Վերջերս Ագուտինը ռուսական առաջին ալիքի «Наедине со всеми» հաղորդման ժամանակ խոստովանել է, որ տարիների ընթացքում Անժելիկան դառնում է առավել լավը, գեղեցիկ, նախաձեռնող։ Նախկինում նրա կինը ուրիշ էր, ասում է Ագուտինը։
 
«Երբ մենք սկսեցինք հանդիպել, ես էի ամեն ինչում գլխավորը։ Դրանում էի ես տեսնում իմ առաքելությունը։ Կարծում էր, որ նա իմ փոքր աղջիկն է, ում ես ամեն ինչ բացատրում էի՝ ինչպես երգել, ինչպես պետք է նվագի նվագախումբը։ Այսպես, ես ամնախելոքն եմ, ինձ վրա կարելի է հենվել։ Եվ նա համբերում էր ամուսնության առաջին, երկրորդ, երրորդ տարիներին։ Նա ուղղակի չէր ցանկանում տրավմայի ենթարկել իմ հոգեկանը ու խոստովանել, որ ամեն ինչ կարող է անել»,-ասել է Ագուտինն ու խոստովանել, որ իր «կինը հիմար չէ և հենց դա է սարսափելին»։
 
Հիշեցնենք, որ Ագուտինն ու Վարումը սկսեցին հանդիպել 1997թ․-ին ու ամուսնացան 3 տարի անց Վենետիկում։ Զույգն ունի 17-ամյա դուստր, ով ապրում է Մայամիում։
