 ԱՄՆ-ի նոր նախագահի ընտրությամբ պայմանավորված՝  երկրի արտաքին քաղաքական կուրսը լուրջ փոփոխություններ չի կրի: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց քաղաքագետ Սերգեյ Մինասյանը:

«Արտաքին քաղաքական հարցերում առավել ևս փոփոխություններ չեն լինի, եթե նախագահ ընտրվի Հիլարի Քլինթոնը, ով Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչ է, իսկ նրա ընտրվելու հավանականության մասին հիմա ավելի շատ է խոսվում: Այն մոտեցումները, որոնք կան ԱՄՆ-ի արտաքին քաղաքական գործընթացներում Օբամայի օրոք, ընդհանուր առմամբ կպահպանվեն»,-ասաց Սերգեյ Մինասյանը:

Այն հարցին, թե ինչ փոփոխություններ կարող են լինել Ռուսաստանում և մերձավորարևելյան երկրներում տեղի ունեցող զարգացումներում, Սերգեյ Մինասյանը նշեց, որ այդ հարցերում ԱՄՆ-ի ընդհանուր գիծը կպահպանվի, բաց տիկին Քլինթոնի ադմինիստրացիան կփորձի ավելի ակտիվ, կոշտ դիրքորոշում ունենալ թե Ռուսաստանի, թե Մերձավոր Արևելքի հետ կապված:

«Իհարկե, այդ կոշտ դիրքորոշման մասին հայտարարվում է, բայց նշենք, որ դա դեռ մտադրություն է: Հիշենք Օբամայի դեպքում, երբ գալիս էր իշխանության, նա փորձում էր այլ քաղաքականություն վարել, դուրս բերել ԱՄՆ-ի զորքերը Աֆղանստանից, Իրաքից և նվազեցնել ԱՄՆ-ի ներգրավվածությունն այդ գործերում, բայց մենք տեսանք, որ քաղաքական իրականությունն այլ եղավ: Օբամայի ժամանակ ԱՄՆ-ն ավելի ներգրավվեց Մերձավոր Արևելքի ճգնաժամի մեջ»,-հավելեց քաղաքագետը:

Ինչ վերաբերում է թեկնածուների դիրքորոշումներին հայկական հարցերի հետ կապված, մանավանդ, որ ԱՄՆ-ի հայ համայնքը նշել է նրանց` հայանպաստ դիրքորոշում չունենալու հանգամանքը, Սերգեյ Մինասյանի խոսքով, այո, դա այդպես է, բայց հայ համայնքի մեծամասնությունն աջակցում է Դեմոկրատական կուսակցության ներկայացուցիչներին:

«Համայնքն այնքան էլ գոհ չէ երկու թեկնածուներից, բայց, ընդհանուր առմամբ, աջակցում է դեմոկրատներին: Ինչ վերաբերում է Հայաստանի հետ հարաբերություններին, ապա ընդհանուր գիծը կշարունակվի, սակայն հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ Քլինթոնն այն անձն է, ով հայ-թուրքական դիվանագիտության գործընթացին անձամբ է մասնակցել, կարծում եմ, որ ուշադրությունը մի փոքր կարող է ավելին լինել»,-եզրափակեց Սերգեյ Մինասյանը:
