«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Նոյեմբերի 7-ին «Պահեստազորի սպաների համահայկական միության» նախագահ, ՊՆ տեղեկատվության եւ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչության պետ, պահեստազորի գեներալ-մայոր Վարդան Ավետիսյանը հանդես է եկել հայտարարությամբ՝ աշխարհազորային ջոկատների հրամանատարներին խնդրելով «մոբիլիզացնել կամավորական բոլոր ուժերը եւ համագործակցելով բանակի հրամանատարության հետ` այս օրերին ու հատկապես նոյեմբերի 11-ից 18-ը պատրաստ լինել իրադարձությունների ցանկացած զարգացման»:  ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի մամուլի քարտուղար Արծրուն Հովհաննիսյանը շտապեց պարզաբանել, որ Վ. Ավետիսյանի դիրքորոշումը պաշտոնական չէ, եւ պաշտպանական գերատեսչությունը որեւէ կերպ չի առնչվում նախաձեռնության հետ:

ԼՂՀ ՊՆ փոխնախարար, Արցախի ազատամարտիկների միության նախագահ «Արցախի հերոս» գեներալ-մայոր Սամվել Կարապետյանը (Օգանովսկի Սամվել) «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում նկատել է, որ գուցե նոյեմբերի 12-ին Ադրբեջանում կայանալիք զորավարժությո՞ւնն է մտավախությունների տեղիք տվել: «Հակառակորդը միշտ էլ պատրաստվում է, մենք էլ պետք է պատրաստվենք, որ պատասխան տանք: Հակառակորդի յուրաքանչյուր շարժ ֆիքսվում է մեր կողմից»,-հայտարարել է Արցախի հերոսը:

Հ. Գ. Երեկվանից Արցախի Տիգրանակերտ բնակավայրի տարածքում սկսվել են զորավարժություններ: Հայ զինվորները վարժանքների միջոցով գնդային մարտավարություն են մշակում, թե ինչպես պետք է հարձակումներից պաշտպանվեն եւ հետ վերադարձնեն հայկական դիրքերը»:
