 Ստեփանակերտում առանց խուճապի են վերաբերվում Ադրբեջանի ակտիվությանը շփման գծում` նշելով, որ որևէ արտառոց բան տեղի չի ունենում: Հակառակորդը խախտում է հրադադարը, բայց դա տարօրինակ չէ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Արցախի նախագահի մամուլի քարտուղար Դավիթ Բաբայանը շփման գծում Ադրբեջանի սադրիչ գործողությունների մասին նշում է նաև, որ հակառակորդը փորձում է լուծել մի քանի խնդիր: Առաջինը սահմանին միշտ իավիճակը փորձում է լարված պահել` իրագործելով իր չար նպատակները: Այն է, հայկական կողմում մեկ կորուստը, մեկ վիրավորն Ադրբեջանի համար ձեռքբերում է: «Որևէ խուճապային տրամադրություն չկա, չի էլ կարող լինել, մենք գործ ունենք աննորմալ, ահաբեկչական պետության  հետ»,-ասում է Բաբայանն ու նկատում, որ երկրորդն խնդիրն այն է, որ Ադրբեջանը փորձում է վերականգնել  իր արժանապատվությունը, բանակի ոգին: «Ադրբեջանական կողմը 22 տարի պատրաստվել է ռևանշի, «բլից կրիգի» միջոցով ապրիլին փորձում էր ոչնչացնել Արցախը, սակայն դա ձախողվեց: Ադրբեջանը կրեց մեծ կորուստ` նյութական, բարոյական, ֆիզիկական: Ադրբեջանի ժողովուրդը հասկացավ, որ հնարավոր չէ պատերազմով հաղթել, որովհետև հայ զինվորները կռվելու են մինչև վերջ: Եվ հիմա նման գործողություններով փորձում է վերականգնել իր արժանապատվությունը»,-ասաց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Դրանից բացից, Ադրբեջանի տնտեսությունն անկում է ապրում, Ալիևը «դե յուրե» դարձել է խան, իսկ ժողովուրդը դժգոհ է: Երկրում անցկացվող զորավարժություններով փորձում է բարձրացնել նրանց ոգին: «Այստեղ մի մեսիջ էլ կա` ուղղված ներքին քաղաքական հակառակորդներին, ազգային փոքրամասնություններին: Այն է, որ Ադրբեջանի բանակի հրամանատարը գերագույն գլխավոր խանն է, իսկ իշխանությունը պահելու համար բանակը կարող է օգտագործվել ներքին խռովությունները ճնշելու համար»,-հավելեց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:

Նա ընդգծեց, որ հայկական բանակը վերահսկում է իրավիճակը: Նրա խոսքով, լայնածավալ պատերազմի հավանականությունը միշտ կա, բայց այն ցածր է` հաշվի առնելով ապրիլին Ադրբեջանի կրած պարտությունը: «Ալիևը հասկանում է, որ պաշտպանության բանակն այդ դեպքում թիրախավորելու է ամեն ինչ: Միջազգային հանրությունն էլ հստակ ասել է, որ չի ընդունում պատերազմի տարբերակը: Բայց դա չի նշանակում, որ լայնածավալ պատերազմի հավանականության ցածր լինելու հանգամանքով պայմանավորված հայկական բանակը նվազեցնում է զգոնությունը, մարտունակությունը: Բանակը միշտ էլ պատրաստ է հա կառակորդին զսպել ու արժանի հարված հասցնել: Ադրբեջանը շատ լավ հասկանում է, որ սահմանին կանգնած մեր տղաներին ահաբեկել հնարավոր չէ»,-հավելեց Դավիթ Բաբայանը:
