Միջին սեզոնային ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումը կարող է հանգեցնել մահացության հավելյալ դեպքերի՝ մոտ 250 հազար մարդ կարող է մահանալ մալարիայից, ջերմային հարվածից եւ մերձարեւադարձային հիվանդությունների տարածումից: Այս մասին ասել են ՄԱԿ Կլիմայական գիտաժողովի մասնակիցները, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

«Միջին սեզոնային ջերմաստիճանի բարձրացումը մի տարածաշրջանում երաշտ է առաջացնում, իսկ մյուսում՝ սառույցների հալոցք: Ռեկորդային բարձր ջերմաստիճանի պատճառով մոտ 250 հազար մարհվան դեպք է կանխատեսվում ջրի որակի անկման, միջատներից տարածվող մերձարեւադարձային հիվանդությունների եւ վիրուսների հետեւանքով, որոնք նախկինում չեն եղել»,- ասված է գագաթնաժողովի մասնակից Նիկարագուի պատվիրակության զեկույցում:
