Եվրասիական տնտեսական միությունը առնվազն մինչև 2024 թ.-ը չի նախատեսում անցում կատարել միասնական արժույթի: Tert.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ՌԴ նախագահի՝ տարածաշրջանային տնտեսական ինտեգրացման հարցերով խորհրդական Սերգեյ Գլազևը: 

Վերջինս նշեց, որ ԵԱՏՄ-ում նախատեսվում է ապրանքածառայությունների, կապիտալի և աշխատուժի ընդհանուր շուկայի ստեղծում, մինչդեռ մնացած բոլոր հարցերը ազգային իրավական համաձայնության տիրույթում են: 

«Միասնական արժույթին անցում կատարելու մասին հարցը քննարկվել է, բայց գեթ մեկ անգամ պոզիտիվ, դրական որոշում չի կայացվել, որովհետև միասնական արժույթին անցնելու  համար անհրաժեշտ է անդամ-պետությունների էկոնոմիկայի, ֆինանսների ավելի մեծ կապվածություն»,- ասաց Գլազևը: 

ՌԴ նախագահի խորհրդականը բերեց Եվրամիության օրինակն այս հարցում ՝ նշելով. «Ինչպես ցույց է տալիս Եվրամիության փորձը, միասնական արժույթի ներդրման համար հարկավոր է բոլոր պետությունների տնտեսական քաղաքականության երկարաժամկետ համաձայնեցում, միավորում, որովհետև բոլոր արժույթներն այսօր փոխակերպվում են պարտքերի: Որպեսզի կյանքի կոչել միասնական արժույթի գաղափարը, հարկավոր է ոչ միայն միասնական կենտրոնական բանկ ստեղծել, այլև՝ համաձայնեցնել մեր վարկային քաղաքականությունը, արտաքին պարտքը: Նման ծրագիր մենք այսօր չունենք: Ամեն դեպքում մինչև 2024 թ.-ը մենք նման ծրագիր չենք իրականացնելու»:
