Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության նախարար Վիգեն Սարգսյանը հերքում է մամուլում տարածված տեղեկատվությունն այն մասին, թե պաշտպանության նախարարությունը պատրաստվում է 50 միլիոն դրամ հատկացնել հունվարի 28-ին կազմակերպվելիք համերգի համար: Ազգային ժողովում Հայաստանի Հանրապետության պաշտպանության ժամանակ զինծառայողների կյանքին կամ առողջությանը պատճառված վնասների հատուցման մասին օ րենքի նախագծի քննարկման ժամանակ, նախարարը, պատասխանելով պատգամավոր Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի հարցին, ընդգծեց, որ այդ հրապարակումը թղթակցի՝ տեղեկատվությանը մինչև վերջ չտիրապետելու արդյունք է եղել: «Այդ հրապարակման տվյալները վերաբերվել են 2016թ. հունվարի 28-ին կազմակերպված համերգին, որն արդեն կայացել է: Եվ այդ հրապարակման մեջ խոսքն արդեն կազմակերպված համերգի մասին է»,-  Արմենպրեսի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Սարգսյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ Հայաստանի բանակի 25-ամյակի կապակցությամբ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը համերգ կազմակերպելու է, սակայն դեռ մրցույթ հայտարարված չէ: «Մենք համերգ անելու ենք, ձեզ էլ հրավիրելու ենք, միասին նշելու ենք, որովհետև դա մեր քարոզչական բաղադրիչի անբաժան մասն է: Սակայն մենք մրցույթ չենք հայտարարել, որևէ մեկին հաղթող չենք ճանաչել, ոչ էլ պայմանագիր ենք կնքել»,- եզրափակեց Սարգսյանը:
