ՀՀ Նախագահն ընդունել է ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի Եվրոպայի և Եվրասիայի հարցերով փոխտեղակալ Բրիջիթ Բրինքին

 ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը նոյեմբերի 16-ին ընդունել է տարածաշրջանային այցով Հայաստան ժամանած Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգների պետքարտուղարի Եվրոպայի և Եվրասիայի հարցերով փոխտեղակալ Բրիջիթ Բրինքին:

Հանդիպման սկզբում Հանրապետության Նախագահը նախ շնորհավորել է ԱՄՆ-ում կայացած նախագահական ընտրությունների և Միացյալ Նահանգների նոր նախագահի ընտրության կապակցությամբ և ընդգծել, թե վստահ է՝ հայ-ամերիկյան քաղաքական երկխոսությունը ոչ միայն կշարունակվի Նախագահ Թրամփի վարչակազմի օրոք, այլև նոր շունչ կստանա: 

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից, Սերժ Սարգսյանը գոհունակությամբ է փաստել, որ վերջին շրջանում նկատվում է փոխադարձ այցելությունների ակտիվություն, ինչն ինքնին իր դրական ներգործությունն է ունենում երկկողմ քաղաքական, առևտրատնտեսական և այլ ոլորտներում համագործակցության խորացման վրա: Նախագահը հույս է հայտնել, որ տիկին Բրինքի հետ հերթական այս հանդիպումը ևս արդյունավետ կլինի և կնպաստի Հայաստան-Միացյալ Նահանգներ կապերի հետագա զարգացմանը:

ՀՀ Նախագահը բարձր է գնահատել տարիներ ի վեր ԱՄՆ կառավարության կողմից տրամադրվող օժանդակությունը Հայաստանի տնտեսության զարգացման, ժողովրդավարական հաստատությունների, քաղաքացիական հասարակության կայացման ուղղությամբ, առանց որի, Հանրապետության Նախագահի համոզմամբ, այդ ոլորտներում այսօր ակնհայտ առաջընթացը դժվար է պատկերացնել: Այդուհանդերձ, ըստ ՀՀ Նախագահի, երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման ներուժը և այն լիարժեքորեն օգտագործելու ցանկությունն ավելի մեծ է, ուստի անհրաժեշտ է առավել ակտիվացնել այդ ուղղությամբ ջանքերը՝ ստեղծելով երկխ ոսության նոր ձևաչափեր ու հարթակներ:

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի փոխտեղակալը գոհունակությամբ է խոսել այցի շրջանակում Հայաստանում ունեցած քննարկումների մասին, նշելով, որ դրանք լրացնում են ընթացիկ տարվա հոկտեմբերին Վաշինգտոնում հաջողությամբ կայացած Հայաստան-ԱՄՆ միջկառավարական աշխատանքային խմբի հանդիպումների արդյունքները:

Բրիջիթ Բրինքը ևս ընդգծել է, որ երկու երկրների միջև դիվանագիտական հարաբերությունների հաստատման 25-ամյակի նախաշեմին կարելի է վստահորեն արձանագրել թե՛ երկկողմ, թե՛ միջազգային կազմակերպությունների շրջանակներում Հայաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների միջև ձևավորված սերտ հարաբերություններն ու տարբեր ոլորտներում արդյունավետ փոխգործակցությունը:

ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարի Եվրոպայի և Եվրասիայի հարցերով փոխտեղակալը վստահեցրել է, որ Միացյալ Նահանգների նոր վարչակազմը շարունակելու է հետաքրքրված լինել Հարավային Կովկասի տարածաշրջանի զարգացումներով, շարունակելու է նաև հանձնառու լինել ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի կարգավորման նպատակով վստահության միջոցների ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ ձեռքբերված վերջին պայմանավորվածությունների իրագործմանը:

Հանդիպման ընթացքում զրուցակիցները մտքեր են փոխանակել հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների հետագա զարգացման հնարավորությունների շուրջ: Հյուրի խնդրանքով, ՀՀ Նախագահը ներկայացրել է քաղաքական և տնտեսական օրակարգի առաջնահերթությունները, ԼՂ հիմնահարցի կարգավորման գործընթացում հայկական կողմի մոտեցումները:
