Հայաստանը կարեւորում է իր ներգրավվածությունը Արեւելյան գործընկերության շրջանակում: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝  Արևելյան գործընկերության (ԱլԳ) անդամ պետությունների պատվիրակությունների ղեկավարների մամուլի ասուլիսի ընթացքում նման հայտարարությամբ հանդես եկավ ՀՀ արտգործնախարար Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:

«Մենք այսօր մեր գործընկերների հետ արդյունավետ քննարկում ունեցանք: Անդրադարձանք Ռիգայի գագաթնաժողովի արդյունքներին: Այն կարեւոր էր ԵՄ եւ գործընկեր երկրների հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար, իսկ դրա արդյունքում  ընդունված հռչակագիրն արժեքավոր շեշտադրումներ արեց ու սահմանեց հիմնական ուղենիշներն անդամ եւ գործընկեր պետությունների միջեւ ինչպես երկկողմ, այնպես էլ բազմակողմ համագործակցության  զարգացման համար: Վերջին երկու տարիներին Ռիգայի հռչակագրի դրույթների իրագործումը գտնվում է մեր ուշադրության կենտրոնում, Հայաստանի պարագայում կարող եմ ասել, որ անցնող  տարվա ընթացքում հաջողվել է գրանցել հաջողություններ: Միացել ենք Եվրամիության մի շարք ծրագրերի՝ փոքր և միջին ձեռնարկությունների զարգացման «Կոսմե» ծրագիրը, հետազոտությունների և նորարություների «Հորիզոն 2020 ծրագիրը», մեկնարկ է տրվել «Ստեղծագործ Եվրոպա» նախառնությանը միանալու գործընթացին, ինչը հնարավորություն է տալիս ընդլայնել մշակութային փոխանակումների շրջանակը»,-ասաց ԱԳ նախարարը:

Նա հույս հայտնեց, որ շուտով կմեկնարկի մուտքի արտոնագրային ռեժիմի ազատականացման շուրջ երկխոսությունը:

«Ակնկալում ենք նաև առաջիկայում սկսել բանակցություններ ընդհանուր ավիացիոն գոտու պայմանագրին միանալու ուղղությամբ: Նախքան գործընթացի մեկնարկը անհրաժեշտ է ԵՄ մանդատի տրամադրումը, որի մասին որոշումը մենք ակնկալում ենք դեկտեմբերի սկզբին: Կցանկանայի նաեւ նշել, որ սկսվել են Հայաստան-ԵՄ միջեւ 2017-2020 թվականների գործընկերության առաջնայնությունների շուրջ մեր խորհրդակցությունները: ԵՄ-ի՝ տարիներ շարունակ ցուցաբերվող  աջակցությունը նշանակալի դեր է խաղացել Հայաստանում բարեփոխումների իրականացման համար եւ ինստիտուցիոնալ կարողությո ւնների ամրապնդման գործում»,-եզրափակեց Էդվարդ Նալբանդյանը:
