ՀՀ ազգային ժողովի արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտականհանձնաժողովի նախագահ Արտակ Զաքարյանը դրական է համարում Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև «թեժ գիծ» ստեղծելու գաղափարը, սակայն հակված չէ հավատալ, որ ադրբեջանական կողմը կարող է այնքան ազնիվ լինել՝ ընդունելու համար բոլոր այն ապացույցները, որ հրադադարի ռեժիմը խախտվել է հենց իր կողմից: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում պատգամավորն ընդգծեց, որ հրադադարի ռեժիմը խախտվում է բարձրաստիճան զինվորականների և հրամանատարների հրամանների արդյունքում: «Ես չեմ կարծում, որ որևէ զինվոր ինքնագլուխ հրադադարի ռեժիմ է խախտում կամ պատրաստ է դրա արդյունքում հայտնվել մեր դիրքապահների ճնշման տակ: Իհարկե, շատ ցանկալի կլինի ունենալ որոշակի շփումներ շփման գիծը հնարավորինս անվտանգ պահելու նպատակով՝ անունը կդնենք թեժ գիծ, թե երկխոսություն: Այնուամենայնիվ, ես հակված չեմ մտածել, որ ադրբեջանցիները դա կկիրառեն որպես տարածաշրջանում և շփման գծում լարվածությունը նվազեցնելու միջոց»,- ասաց Զաքարյանը:

Նա հավելեց, որ, միգուցե, ադրբեջանական կողմը արտաքուստ համաձայնի Հայաստանի հետ «թեժ գիծ» ստեղծելու գաղափարին, սակայն դրա արդյունավետությունը Բաքուն պետք է ապացուցի: «Մենք որևէ խաղաղարար նախաձեռնության, երկխոսության և կառուցողական առաջարկի դեմ չենք եղել և դեմ չենք լինելու, որովհետև մեր նպատակն է գտնել խաղաղ լուծում և հասնել երկարատև խաղաղության տարածաշրջանում: Սակայն մեր նպատակը չէ դա իրականացնել հայ ժողովրդի անվտանգության, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության բնակչության ինքնորոշման իրավունքի, ազատ և անվտանգ ապրելու իրաÕ �ունքի հաշվին: Այսինքն՝ մեր ասելիքը շատ հստակ է, և մնում է, որ Ադրբեջանի խոսքն ու գործը միմյանց հետ համընկնեն: Ես նկատի ունեմ այն խոսքը, որն Ադրբեջանն ասում է բանակցությունների ժամանակ, ոչ թե Ալիևը կամուֆլյաժի մեջից»,- եզրափակեց պատգամավորը:

 ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը «Ռուսաստանն այսօր» միջազգային տեղեկատվական գործակալությանը տված հարցազրույցում հանդես է եկել Երևանի և Բաքվի միջև թեժ գծի ստեղծման օգտին, որի միջոցով հնարավոր կլինի օպերատիվ կերպով արձագանքել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում ծավալվող իրադարձություններին: «Կարելի է, եթե դա օգուտ բերի, եթե մենք օպերատիվ կերպով արձագանքենք իրադարձություններին: Ենթադրենք՝ շփման գծում ինչ-որ մեկը կրակում է, և մեր տվյալներով կրակում են ադրբեջանցիները, ես վերցնում եմ լսափողը, զանգահարում եմ Ադրբեջանի նախագահին և ասում՝ «կրակո ւմ են», և նա ստուգում է»,- նշել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը:
