Վերջին օրերին պաշտպանության նախարարի ներկայացրած օրենսդրական առաջարկի կապակցությամբ հայրենասիրությունից սկսեցին խոսել բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր ժամանակ ունեին դրա համար։ Առանձնահատուկ կերպով իրենց բուռն ռազմահայրենասիրական ճառերով աչքի էին ընկնում վաղուց արդեն երիտասարդության շեմը հետևում թողած երիտհանրապետականները, որոնցից շատերը չեն ծառայել բանակում։

Անշուշտ, շատ կան դեպքեր, երբ բանակում ծառայած չլինելը չի կարող դիտվել որպես բացասական կողմ, քանի որ հայրենասիրությունը կամ հայրենիքին ծառայելը միայն բանակում ծառայելով չի որոշվում, սակայն երբ ակնհայտորեն տեսնում ես կիսագործիչների, որոնց միակ լինելիության նպատակը իշխանությանը շողոքորթելն ու անվերապահ ծառայելն է, ապա արդեն իսկ պարզ է, որ վերջիններս ուղղակի խուսափել են զինծառայությունից՝ այլևայլ եղանակներով։

Սակայն դա մի կողմ։ Ռազմահայրենսիրական պաթոսը ընդհանրապես բոլոր իշխանությունների համար եղել է բավական արդյունավետ գործիք՝ տարատեսակ դիվիդենտների ու քարոզչության համար։ Սակայն նույնիսկ այս դեպքում կան սահմաններ, որոնք պետք չէ հատել։ Ցավոք, այս սահմանների մասին մեր երիտհանրապետական մնացած կիսագործիչները չգիտեն կամ պարզապես չեն կարողանում ընկալել և լրատվական դաշտն ու ԱԺ ամբիոնը օգտագործում են ձանձրալի, ոչինչ չասող և ոչինչ չտվող հոխորտանքներով:

Հենց նմանօրինակ հռետորաբանությունն է նաև, որ իշխանության և վերջինիս ներկայացուցիչների նկատմամբ ձևավորվում է հանրային անվստահություն, իսկ երբեմն էլ պարզապես անտարբերություն, քանի որ սովորաբար նման հռետորաբանությունը լինում է ընդամենը փուչիկ, որն ուղղակի ստեղծում է այն գաղջ մթնոլորտը, որի մասին շարունակաբար խոսում են տարբեր պետական պաշտոնյաներ։ Գուցե հենց այս հարցերի շուրջ պետք է մտորի իշխանությունը և պարզապես լռեցնի իր ռազմահայրենասեր նվիրյալներին, որոնց ծառայությունները հակառակ ազդեցությունն են ունենում և ձևախեղում ընդհանրապես հայրենասիություն երևույթի ընկալումները։ Ի վերջո, հայրենասիրությունն ու հայրենիքը սահմանափակված չեն լոկ ճառերի ու հոխորտանքների արանքում։ Մինչդեռ մեր ռազմահայրենասերների պարագայում ճառասացությունը վերածվել է հայրենասիրության դրսևորման միակ միջոցի։

Վերջապես վերոնշյալ անհատները արժեզրկում են նաև հայրենասիրություն երևույթը՝ վերջինս օգտագործելով ու շահարկելով քաղաքական հակառակորդներին քննադատելու, կամ որ ավելի վատ է, պիտակավորելու համար։ Սա չափազանց վտանգավոր պրակտիկա է դառնում, քանի որ այն իռացիոնալ է դարձնում քաղաքական դաշտն ու քաղաքական պայքարը և վերացնում քաղաքական տեքստը՝ փոխարենը առաջարկելով զգացական ու պաթոսախառը մի լեզու, որն սպառնում է լիովին արժեզրկել առանց այն էլ նախանձելի վիճակում չգտնվող մեր քաղաքական մշակույթը։
