Այն, որ հատկապես վերջին շրջանում հայաստանյան ներքաղաքական դաշտը վերածվել է իսկական կրկեսի, ուր ամեն մեկն իրեն հատկացված դերն է խաղում՝ ծառայելով մեկ կենտրոնի շահերին, նորություն չէ: Ներկայում ստեղծվել է մի իրավիճակ, երբ անգամ թունդ ընդդիմադիր ձևացող մեկն, ում աշխատանքային օրն առավոտից երեկո լցված է բացառապես իշխանություններին հայհոյելով ու անտեղի ճղճղալով, հասարակության շրջանում չունի անհրաժեշտ վստահություն, ու, ասենք, բացի մի քանի հարյուր հոգուց բաղկացած ցույց հրավիրելուց՝ այլ բանի ո՛չ բարոյապես, ո՛չ էլ ֆիզիկապես ընդունակ չէ. քաղաքական դաշտում չկա որևիցե քաղաքական ուժ՝ իշխանական, թե ընդդիմադիր, որ կկարողանար իր շարքերից առանձնացնել ու հանրությանը ներկայացնել մի գործչի, ով աներկբա հեղինակություն կվայելեր հասարակության շրջանում, ով չէր լինի վարկաբեկված ու հասարակության հետ կգտնվեր գոնե հեռակա երկխոսության մեջ:

Որքան էլ ցավալի լինի խոստովանելը, փաստը մնում է փաստ, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի՝ ակտիվ քաղաքականություն վերադարձի հավանականությունն այդպես էլ հանգիստ չի տալիս իրենց դարն ապրած ու լիուլի վարկաբեկված որոշ քաղաքական ուժերի: Ճիշտ այն օրվանից, երբ սկսեցին լուրեր շրջանառվել Ծառուկյանի ակտիվացման հավանականության վերաբերյալ, երբ ամեն ինչ դեռևս խոսակցությունների մակարդակով էր, հայաստանյան քաղաքական դաշտի մի շարք վայ ներկայացուցիչներ՝ ընդ որում, որքան էլ կարող է տարօրինակ հնչել, առավելապես ընդդիմադիր հատվածը ներկայացնող, սկսեցին վայնասուն բարձրացնել, իրենց պատեպատ տալ՝ ամեն կերպ ջանալով «ապացուցել», թե առանց Ծառուկյանի էլ քաղաքական կյանքը կարող է շարունակվել: Ու հիմա պարզվում է՝ տեսնելով սեփական պնդումների ու համոզումների սնանկությունը՝ սկսել են գործի դնել կեղտոտ տեխնոլոգիաներն ու սեփական «դատողություններով» մթնոլորտ են պղտորում, անհիմն եզրահանգումներ անում, կսկծու ճամարտակում:

Իսկ որոշների նմանօրինակ պահվածքի, նկատվող խուճապի պատճառներն առավել քան ակնհայտ են. մարդիկ սարսափած են Ծառուկյանի անօրինակ ժողովրդականությունից, սարսափած են հասարակության շրջանում ունեցած նրա անսահման հեղինակությունից, ու, միգուցե միանգամայն արդարացիորեն, համոզված են, որ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի ակտիվացումը կարող է իրենց վերջի սկիզբը դառնալ, ու այլևս ի վիճակի չլինեն՝ մարդկանց իրենց կեղծ խոստումներով ու միմոսությամբ մոլորության մատնելու. վախենում են առաջիկա ընտրություններին ձեռնունայն մնալուց, անցողիկ տոկոսներ չհավաքելուց, փողոցային ընդդիմություն դառնալուց…

Անքննարկելի է՝ հասարակությունը, որ բազմիցս է այս կամ այն քաղաքական ուժերի կամ առանձին գործիչների խաբեության զոհ դարձել, արդեն վաղուց անհամբերությամբ սպասում է մեկին, ով հանդես կգա ու քաղաքականության մեջ կդառնա ժողովրդի շահերի իրական արտահայտիչը, կլինի մեկն, ով համարձակորեն, առանց ավելորդ ճամարտակությունների՝ հաստատակամորեն կբարձրաձայնի վաղուց կուտակված այն խնդիրները, որոնք խեղդում են ժողովրդին ներսից՝ պատճառ դառնալով արտագաղթի ու տոտալ հիասթափության. Ծառուկյանն, այս առումով, պարզապես անփոխարինելի է, ու հենց այս իրողությունն է, որ շատերին հանգիստ չի տալիս…
