Եկեղեցիների Համաշխարհային Խորհրդի հայաստանյան միջեկեղեցական բարեգործական Կլոր սեղան հիմնադրամի ծրագրերից անմասն չեն մնացել նաեւ սիրիահայերը: Ինչպես Արմենպրեսի հետ զրույցում ասաց հիմնադրամի ծրագրերի պատասխանատու Կարինե Բաղդասարյանը, իրականացվել է «ՀՀ-ում փախստական սիրիահայերի կենսապայմանների բարելավում» ծրագիրը, որի նպատակն է նպաստել Սիրիայից փախստական ամենակարիքավոր ընտանիքների տնտեսական ու սոցիալական պայմանների բարելավմանը եւ ինտեգրմանը Հայաստանում:

2015 թվականի մայիսի 1-ից մինչեւ 2016 թվականի օգոստոսի 31-ը տեւած ծրագրի  ընթացքում 50 սիրիացի փախստականների հնարավորություն է ընձեռվել սովորելու վարսահարդարում, գեղահարդարում և մատնահարդարում, խոհարարություն և սեղանի ձևավորում, ինչպես նաև` հագուստի մոդելավորում: «Մեր նպատակն էր որոշակի հմտություններ սովորեցնել հատկապես կանանց` հաշվի առնելով այն հանգամանքը, որ Սիրիայում ընդունված չէ, որ կանայք աշխատեն: Այսպես ինչ-որ չափով կվաստակեն իրենց օրվա հացը»,-ասաց Կարինե Բաղդասարյանը` հավելելով, որ «Մայքրոսոֆթ»-ի հայաստանյան գրասենյա կի աջակցությամբ սիրիահայ 21 երիտասարդ էլ հնարավորություն ստացավ ուսանելու խորացված ծրագրավորում: Նրանցից 12-ն արդեն հիմնական աշխատանք ունեն:

Կարինե Բաղդասարյանն առանձնացրեց հատկապես սննդի բաշխման նախաձեռնությունը, որը Կլոր սեղանի միջազգային գործընկերների կողմից ճանաչվեց որպես նորարական մոտեցում մարդասիրական օգնության ոլորտում: Այդ մասին նույնիսկ ֆիլմ է նկարահանվել: «Մենք որոշեցինք սիրիահայերին սնունդը բաշխել նորարարական, ավելի ճիշտ կլներ ասել, արժանապատիվ ձեւով: Պարենային ցանցերի հետ համագործակցելով մենք նրանց պլաստիկ քարտեր տրամադրեցինք, որոնցով մարդիկ հնարավորություն ստացան իրենք ընտրելու անհրաժեշտ սննդամթերքը, իհարկե բացառությա մբ ալկոհոլի և ծխախոտի»,-հավելեց Կարինե Բաղդասարյանը:
