Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին այսօր նշել է Հայոց աշխարհի առաջին լուսավորիչներ Ս. Թադեոս և Ս. Բարդուղիմեոս առաքյալների ցնծալի տոնը, տեղեկացնում է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի տեղեկատվական համակարգը:

Բերկրառատ օրվա կապակցությամբ Միածնաէջ Մայր Տաճարում, հանդիսապետությամբ Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Բ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսի, մատուցվել է սրբազան Պատարագ: Պատարագիչն է եղել Մայր Աթոռի հոգևոր-կրթական հաստատությունների վերատեսուչ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Գևորգ եպիսկոպոս Սարոյանը:

Ս. Պատարագի ընթացքում հայրապետական հանդիսավոր թափորով Մայր Տաճար բերվել է Աստվածամուխ Ս. Գեղարդը, որպեսզի ուխտավորաբար համայն հայության հոգևոր կենտրոնում մեկտեղված հավատավոր ժողովուրդը հնարավորություն ունենա համբուրելու հրաշագործ Ս. Գեղարդը և ստանալու աստվածային բյուր օրհնություններ:

Իր քարոզում անդրադառնալով տոնի կարևորությանը՝ Գևորգ Սրբազանն ի մասնավորի ասել է. ‹‹Այսօր Հայաստանյայց Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին մեծ հանդիսավորությամբ նշում է իր առաջին լուսավորիչների, հայոց հավատի հիմնադիր նահապետների՝ Ս. Թադեոսի և Ս. Բարդուղիմեոսի տոնը:

Օրն այս համազգային նշանակություն ու համազգական խորհուրդ ունի, որով ազդարարվում է հայ ժողովրդի քրիստոնեական պատմության սկիզբը, մի պատմություն, որ շարունակում է հիացմունքի և ներշնչման աղբյուր հանդիսանալ աշխարհի բոլոր քրիստոնյա ժողովուրդների համար, գրավել դեպի այն արտասովորն ու գեղեցիկը, որ հատուկ է հայոց բարեպաշտական ոգուն: Իմ խորին համոզմամբ, այս հարգանքի հիմնական պատճառներից մեկն այն է, որ հիշյալ պատմությունը հոգևոր կյանքի վերաբերյալ շատ առանցքային մի բացահայտում է անում յուրաքանչյուր քրիստոնյայի համար. այն սովորեցնում է մեզ, որ հավատը պահանջում է հավատարմություն: Այս իմաստով օրվա խորհուրդը ոչ միայն առիթ է ընձեռում մեզ վերանորոգելու մեր ուխտը սուրբ առաքյալների քարոզության առջև, այլև խորհրդածելու այն աստվածային շնորհի մասին, որով հայոց հոգևոր անդաստանի մշակության նվիրական գործը հանձնարարվեց Տիրոջ հավատարիմ երկու վկաներին, Թադեոսին և Բարդուղիմոսին, որոնց անմահ հիշատակն է պանծացնում այսօր Մայր Եկեղեցին՝ հրավիրելով իր զավակներին մասնակից լինելու այն խնդությանը, «որ ի վեր է քան զամենայն միտս և զբանս»»: 

Վերջում նվիրական օրվա առիթով Մայր Աթոռի միաբանության, պաշտոնեության և ողջ հավատացյալ դասի անունից Գևորգ Սրբազանը շնորհավորել է Նորին Սրբությանը՝ իբրև հայոց հավատի հիմնադիրների ճշմարիտ ժառանգորդի, և մաղթել է, որ Աստված մշտապես ծաղկյալ պահի  Հայրապետի գավազանը՝ առավել ևս բորբոքելու առաքելական հավատի հուրն աշխարհասփյուռ հայորդիների սրտերում՝ ի շինություն Հայ Եկեղեցու և ի պայծառություն հայոց ազգի:

Սուրբ և Անմահ Պատարագին ներկա էին Հայ Եկեղեցու թեմակալ առաջնորդներ, Մայր Աթոռում պաշտոնավարող եպիսկոպոսներ, միաբաններ, հայաստանյան թեմերից ժամանած բազում ուխտավորներ, զինվորականներ: 

Պատարագի արարողության ավարտին Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Ս․ Գեղարդով օրհնել է և արձակել ներկա ժողովրդին։

Սուրբ Գեղարդը ի տես և ի երկրպագություն հավատացելոց Մայր Տաճարում մնացել է մինչև Երեկոյան ժամերգության ավարտը:
