ՀՀ վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանը տրամաբանական քայլ է համարում Հայաստանի` Եվրասիական տնտեսական միության անդամակցությունը:

«ԵԱՏՄ մտնելը համարում եմ տրամաբանական քայլ, որովհետև մեր տնտեսության պոտենցիալն ամենաշատը հնարավորություն ունի իր տեղը գտնել այդ շուկայում: Ցավոք, մենք շատ արտադրանք, ծառայություններ չունենք, որ Եվրոպայում մրցունակ են, ընկալելի են, ընդունելի են:

Մտնելով այդ ակումբ, մենք հնարավորություն ունենք աշխատել 200 միլիոնանոց շուկայում, արդյունավե՞տ կաշխատենք` լավ կլինի, ո՞չ արդյունավետ, լավ չի լինի, եթե լավ չի լինի` դա չի նշանակում, որ այդ ակումբ մտնելու փաստն է վատը: Դա նշանակում է, որ մենք արդյունավետ չենք եղել»,- կառավարությունում ԶԼՄ-ների ներկայացուցիչների հետ հանդիպմանը հայտարարեց Կարեն Կարապետյանը:

Կառավարության ղեկավարը նաև ավելացրեց. «Մի ակումբի անդամ լինելով` մենք մերժո՞ւմ ենք բոլոր մնացած հարթակներում աշխատելը, իմ կարծիքով` ոչ: ԵԱՏՄ անդամ լինելով մեր ձեռքը մեկը բռնե՞լ է Եվրամիություն չգնալու` փորձելու բիզնես անել, կամ դրանով խանգարո՞ւմ է` իհարկե, ոչ: Դուք գիտե՞ք մի բիզնես, որը ԵՄ-ում պոտենցիալ ունի և չի գնում այնտեղ կամ նրան չեն ընդունում այնտեղ, որովհետև մեր երկիրը ԵԱՏՄ անդամ է»,- հարց ուղղեց վարչապետը:
