Սիրիական բանակը Հալեպի արևելյան շրջանների ազատագրմանն ուղղված ռազմարշավի շրջանակներում վերահսկողության տակ է առել քաղաքի 93 տոկոսը:  

Ինչպես փոխանցում է ТАСС գործակալությունը, այս մասին հայտնել է ՌԴ Զինված ուժերի Գլխավոր հրամանատարության օպերատիվ վարչության ղեկավար, գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Սերգեյ Ռուդսկոյը: Նրա խոսքով` վերջին 4 օրում գրոհայինները կորցրել են իրենց վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող տարածքների մեկ երրորդը:

Հաջող գրոհների արդյունքում սիրիական բանակը 52 թաղամաս է ազատագրել արևելյան Հալեպում: 

Ուրբաթ ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովը Հալեպի արևելյան շրջաններում գրոհայինների վիճակը «սարսափելի» է բնութագրել: Նախօրեին Լավրովը հայտարարել էր, որ սիրիական բանակը դադարեցնում է մարտական գործողությունները Հալեպում` 8000 խաղաղ բնակչի հնարավորություն տալով հեռանալ քաղաքից:
