2016 թվականին աշխարհում 144 լրագրող Է զոհվել

 2016 թվականի սկզբից 31 երկրներում զոհվել Է 144 լրագրող. ԶԼՄ-ների աշխատողների շրջանում այսչափ մեծ թվով զոհեր չեն եղել վերջին տասը տարվա ընթացքում: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս տվյալները ներկայացվել են Press Emblem Campaign (PEC) ոչ կառավարական կազմակերպության՝ դեկտեմբերի 14-ին Ժնեւում հրապարակված ամենամյա զեկույցում:

PEC-ում, որը հորդորում Է համաշխարհային հանրակցությանը՝  գործուն միջոցներ ձեռնարկել հակամարտությունների գոտիներում լրագրողների անվտանգությունն ապահովելու համար, պարզաբանել են, որ ընդհանուր թիվը (144) ներառում Է բրազիլացի այն 20 լրագրողներին, որոնք զոհվել են նոյեմբերի 29-ին Կոլումբիայում տեղի ունեցած ավիաաղետի ժամանակ: Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում Է ԶԼՄ-ների աշխատողների համար առավել վտանգավոր երկրների վարկանիշին, ապա առաջին տեղում կազմակերպությունը դրել Է Իրաքը, որտեղ 2016 թվականին զոհվել են մամուլի 16 աշխատողներ: Բացի Իրաքից, առաջին հնգյակում տե ղ են գտել Սիրիան (14), Աֆղանստանը (12), Մեքսիկան (12) եւ Եմենը (9): Ռուսաստանում, ըստ PEC-ի տվյալների, զոհվել Է մամուլի երեք աշխատող, Ուկրաինայում՝ երկու:

Ընդգծվում Է, որ 2016 թվականին աշխատելու համար առավել վտանգավոր տարածաշրջաններն են եղել Մերձավոր Արեւելքը եւ Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկան. այնտեղ զոհվել են 44 լրագրողներ:

2012 թվականից Սիրիայի պատերազմը մամուլի 100 աշխատակիցների կյանք Է խլել: Իրաքում վերջին հինգ տարվա ընթացքում զոհվել Է 55 լրագրող, Պակիստանում՝ 50, Մեքսիկայում՝ 46, Սոմալիում՝ 41:

Press Emblem Campaign-ը, որն ստեղծվել Է 2004 թվականին, ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր խորհրդատվական կարգավիճակ ունի: Ժնեւում պարբերաբար զեկույցներ հրապարակելով լրագրողների շրջանում զոհերի վերաբերյալ, այն ձգտում Է հասարակական կարծիքը կենտրոնացնել հակամարտությունների գոտիներում մամուլի աշխատողների անվտանգության ապահովման ավելի վճռական քայլերի վրա: Վիճակագրության մեջ, որը վարում Է կազմակերպությունը, արտացոլված են լրագրողների սպանությունների բոլոր դեպքերը՝ նրանց կողմից իրենց մասնագիտական պարտականությունները կատարելիս: Զոհերի թվում են՝ թղթակիցներ, օպերատո րներ, հնչյունային օպերատորներ, տեխնիկներ, լուսանկարիչներ, պրոդյուսերներ, ԶԼՄ-ների վարչական աշխատողներ:

Զոհերի վերաբերյալ տեղեկատվության աղբյուր են ծառայում մամուլի, լրագրողների միությունների, ՄԱԿ-ի եւ ոչ կառավարական կազմակերպությունների հաղորդագրությունները, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
