Այս վիրահատական և ռենտգեն-սենյակներում աշխատել են Գերմանիայի ամենաանվանի բժիշկները. պրոֆեսոր Կարլ Կալուբերգ, բժիշկներ Կարլ Գեբհարդ, Զիգմունդ Ռաշեր և Կուրտ Պլետներ։

Ի՞նչն էր այս ականավոր գիտնականներին բերել Լեհաստանի փոքրիկ Շտուտովո գյուղը։

Այստեղ դրախտային տեսարաններ են. Բալթիկ ծովի գեղեցիկ ափեր, խիտ անտառներ, գետեր, միջնադարյան ամրոցներ և հին քաղաքներ։

Սակայն բժիշկները ամենևին էլ այդ տեսարանների համար չէին ժամանում Շտուտովո։

Նրանք գալիս էին այստեղ չարը գործելու, հազարավոր մարդկանց ծաղրի ենթարկելու և նրանց վրա անմարդկային գիտափորձեր իրականացնելու համար։

Ոչ ոք կենդանի դուրս չի եկել գինեկոլոգիայի և վիրուսոլոգիայի բժիշկների մոտից։

Շտուտգոֆ համակենտրոնացման ճամբարը կառուցվել է 1939 թվականին Գդանսկից 35 կիլոմետր հեռավորության վրա։

Պատերազմի ընթացքում այստեղ են հայտնվել ավելի քան 110 հազար մարդ, որոնցից 65 հազարը մահացել են։
