«Տվե՛ք ինձ տաս հայտնի կին գիտնականի կամ նկարչուհու անուն: Վստահ եմ՝ շատերը կդժվարանան տալ անուններ: Հարց է առաջանում՝ ու՞ր են մեր խելացի կանայք: Այս հարցին կտամ միանշանակ պատասխան. այդ կանայք զբաղված են իրենց տղամարդկանց կերակրելով, նրանց հագուստները լվանալով: Հենց այս ամենատարրական հարցերի լուծումը գտնելուց հետո միայն կարող ենք խոսել ավելի գլոբալ հարցերի՝ մասնավորապես քաղաքականության մեջ կանանց դերի մասին»,-այսօր «Միասնություն» համազգային շարժման կազմակերպած «Հայ հասարակության մենթալ կարծրատիպերը և կանանց քաղաքական մասնակցությունը» խորագրով քննարկմանը նման տեսակետ հայտնեց Հանրային քաղաքականության և շահերի պաշտպանության պատասխանատու Անուշ Խաչատրյանը:

Ըստ բանախոսի՝ պետք է փոխվի հասարակության տեսակետն այն մասին, որ այն, ինչ անում են տղամարդիկ, ճիշտ է և լավը դա է: «Ով է ասել, որ այն, ինչ անում են տղամարդիկ, լավ է: Անգամ ժողովրդական առածներում է շոշափվում այս թեզը. օրինակ, որ երեխան տղա է ծնվում, դա լավ է, իսկ երբ աղջիկ է ծնվում՝ վատ է: Չէ՞ որ տղամարդիկ չեն լավի շեմը, տղամարդիկ չեն հասել այն առավելագույնին, որին պետք է ձգտեն կանայք»:

Անուշ Խաչատրանի համոզմամբ՝ երբ կանայք պայքարում են իրենց իրավունքների համար, դա չի նշանակում, որ իրենք պայքարում են տղամարդկանց դեմ: Խոսքն, ընդամենը, իրավահավասարության մասին է, որը պետք է երկու կողմերն էլ պահպանեն:
