ԼՂՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարիտեղակալ Սերգեյ Շահվերդյանը մեկնաբանել է իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում հրապարակած  օղակաձև ու գնդաձև մեծ քարաբեկորների լուսանկարները՝ նշելով որ դրանք հայտնաբերվել են Մարտակերտի մատույցներում և հնագույն կենդանիների մնացորդներ են։

Սերգեյ Շահվերդյանը պատմել է, որ քարաբեկորներն ուսւմնասիրվել են մասնագետների կողմից և կան նախնական տվյալներ, ըստ որոնց՝ գտածոները Յուրայի ժամանակաշրջանի (մոտավորապես 160 միլիոն տարի) կենդանիների քարացած մնացորդներ են: Ամեն դեպքում պետք է սպասենք ավելի մանրամասն հետազոտության համապատասխան մասնագետների ներգրավմամբ:

«Հաշվի առնելով քարաբեկորների բացառիկությունը՝ դրանք բավականին դժվար է համադրել նմանատիպ այլ գտածոների հետ, հետևաբար՝ ավելի դժվար է հասկանալ դրանց ծագումը և մշակութային տարրի առկայությունը»,- նկատել է նա:

Պաշտոնյան պարզաբանել է, որ քարաբեկորները գտնվում են Մարտակերտ քաղաքի մատույցներում և հայտնաբերվել են Մարտակերտ քաղաքի բնակչի կողմից: Վերջինս գտածոների մասին հայտնել է Պատմական միջավայրի պահպանության Մարտակերտի շրջանային ծառայության աշխատակիցներին: «Հաշվի առնելով գտածոների հանդեպ հետաքրրքությունը սոցիալական սանցերում և մամուլում՝ փորձելու ենք հնարավորինս արագ և համապարփակ տեղեկատվություն ներկայացնել հանրությանը դրանց վերաբերյալ»,- հավելել է Սերգեյ Շահվերդյանը:

Նրա կարծիքով՝ հայտնաբերված քարաբեկորները զբոսաշրջության զարգացման տեսանկյունից բավականին մեծ ներուժ ունեն, քանի որ դրանք արդեն իսկ բացառիկ հետաքրքրություն են առաջացրել, չնայած որ ամբողջական տեղեկատվություն չկա: Բացի այդ, դրանց կենտրոնացված լինելը մեկ վայրում և հասանելիությունը խոսում են այն մասին, որ ժամանակի ընթացքում այդ տարածքը ևս կարող է վերածվել հայտնի զբոսաշրջավայրի: Գտածոների ուսումնասիրությունից և համապատասխան հետազոտություններն ավարտելուց հետո նախատեսվում է բարեկարգել տարածքը և զարգացնել՝ որպես Արցախի զբոսաշրջային արդյունքի կարևոր մաս:
