Դարակազմիկ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններն ամենևին էլ «յոթ սարի հետևում չեն», ինչը նշանակում է, որ հասարակության շրջանում հետզհետե է՛լ ավելի արդիական է դառնում այն ճակատագրական հարցը, թե ում է պետք վստահել առաջիկա տարիներին Հայաստանի ճակատագիրը: Իսկ հարցն այս, ինչպես հասկանալի է, ամենևին էլ պարզունակներից չէ. քաղաքական դաշտում գործունեություն ծավալող ուժերի, դեմքերի ջախջախիչ մեծամասնությունն այս տարիների ընթացքում հասցրել է ցույց տալ սեփական դեմքն ու անվիճելիորեն փաստել՝ որպես գլխավոր ու միակ գերնպատակ դիտարկվում է ժողովրդի հաշվին ինքնահաստատումը, խաբեությամբ վերևներ մագլցելն ու ամեն գնով այնտեղ մնալը:

Ասել կուզի՝ ներկա պահին հասարակությունն իրականում այնքան էլ մեծ ընտրություն չունի ու դեռևս պարզ չէ՝ նման գաղջ մթնոլորտում ինչպես կկողմնորոշվի շարքային հայ մարդը, որի առջև այդպես էլ շարունակում են ծառացած մնալ բազմաթիվ խնդիրներ՝ սկսած կենցաղային տարրական մանր-մունր, բայց այդպես էլ չլուծվող խնդիրներից՝ մինչև երկրի անվտանգությանը վերաբերող լրջագույն մարտահրավերներ:

Երբ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի վերադարձի մասին խոսակցությունները դեռևս այսչափ չէին լրջացել, երբ ընդամենը լուրերի ու ասեկոսեների մակարդակով էր խոսվում սիրված գործչի ակտիվացման մասին, արդեն իսկ պարզից էլ պարզ էր, որ իրավիճակը կարող է և այնքան էլ ողբալի չլինել, ինչպես պատկերացնում էին շատերը: Ակնհայտ էր՝ սիրված ու վաստակաշատ գործչի վերադարձը միանգամայն նոր իրավիճակ էր ստեղծելու դաշտում՝ առաջիկա ընտրությունները մեխանիկական անիմաստ գործընթացից վերածելով երկրում իրական փոփոխությունների հասնելու լիակատար գործիքի:

Չնայած ինքը՝ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը, դեռևս պաշտոնական հայտարարությամբ հանդես չի եկել՝ վերաբերող քաղաքական դաշտում իր հետագա գործողություններին ու անելիքներին, ակնհայտ է, սակայն, որ նրա ակտիվացումն այլևս գրեթե կայացած ու անխուսափելի դարձած իրողություն է: Իսկ այդպիսին է հենց միայն այն պատճառով, որ սիրելի գործչի ակտիվացմանը սպասում է մի ողջ ժողովուրդ, որի մեջ վերջինս տեսնում է իր բոլոր ծրագրերի ու նպատակների իրագործումը. Ծառուկյանի՝ ակտիվ քաղաքական կյանք վերադարձն, առանց չափազանցության, վերածվել է համահասարակական բնական պահանջի:

Իսկ հարցը, թե ինչով է հատկապես պայմանավորված Ծառուկյանի այսօրինակ ժողովրդականությունն ու հասարակական ամենալայն զանգվածների բացարձակ ու միակ ֆավորիտը հանդիսանալու իրողությունն, ավելի քան ակնհայտ է. նախ՝ որովհետև մնացած բոլորն իրենց վաղուց սպառել են, երկրորդ՝ Ծառուկյանը միակն է, ում ազգանվեր գործունեությունն երբևիցե քաղաքական աստառ կամ ենթատեքստ չի ունեցել՝ հանգամանք, որը տառացիորեն բացառիկ երևույթ է մերօրյա հայ իրականության պայմաններում ու լավագույնս է բնութագրում սիրելի գործչի մարդկային տեսակն ու ունեցած նպատակը՝ անել հնարավոր ամեն ինչ՝ ժողովրդի հոգսերը թեթևացնելու ոչ թե խոսքերով, այլ իրական գործերով, նպաստելու հասարակության ամեն մի անդամի բարեկեցությանն, ու այդ ամենը՝ միանգամայն անշահախնդրորեն:

Անքննարկելի է՝ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանին այլընտրանք՝ ուղղակի չկա, նա միակն է իր տեսակի մեջ, մեկն, ով իր գործունեությամբ հույս ու հավատ է կարողացել ներշնչել սովորական մարդկանց՝ դառնալով այն հոգեհարազատ գործիչը, որի հետ են կապված քաղաքացիների հույսերն ու նպատակները:
