Ամբողջ 2016թ. ընթացքում շարժական կապի ծածկույթի ընդլայնման ու արդիականացման նպատակով Ucom ընկերությունը նոր կայաններ է գործարկել ոչ միայն մայրաքաղաքում, այլև Հայաստանի տարբեր մարզերում: Ավարտին են հասցվել կայանների տեղադրման նպատակով իրականացվող շինարարական աշխատանքները և ապահովվել է դրանց էլեկտրամատակարարումը: Այս ամենի շնորհիվ Ucom-ի բաժանորդները հնարավորություն են ստացել օգտվելու ոչ միայն շարժական կապի ավելի որակյալ ձայնային ծառայություններից, այլև անխափան կերպով և առանց ընդհատումների օգտագործելու առցանց քարտեզների բոլոր գործառույթները:

Այս տարվա աշխատանքների արդյունքում 4G+ ցանցը հասանելի է Երևանում, ընդ որում նաև՝ Երևանի մետրոպոլիտենում, Ծաղկաձոր քաղաքում, Երևանից Վաղարշապատ ձգվող հատվածում ու ճանապարհին, նաև՝ այդ տիրույթի գյուղերում, Վաղարշապատում, Գավառում, Մարտունիում և հարակից տարածքներում տեղակայված գյուղերում, ինչպես նաև՝ այդ տիրույթի ճանապարհներին:

Գեղարքունիքի մարզում նոր ցանցը հասանելի է Գանձակ, Կարմիրգյուղ, Սարուխան, Լանջաղբյուր, Լիճք, Վերին Գետաշեն, Վարդաշեն, Աստղաձոր, Զոլաքար, Վարդենիկ և հարակից տարածքում գտնվող այլ գյուղերում: Իսկ Արմավիրի մարզում նոր ցանցից հնարավոր է օգտվել Հայթաղ, Գեղակերտ, Հովտամեջ, Արշալույս, Ծակգյուղ, Արտիմետ, Զվարթնոց, Փարաքար, Մուսալեռ, Հայանիստ, Խաչփառ, Հովտաշատ, Զորակ, Դաշտավան և հարակից տարածքում գտնվող գյուղերում:

«Ամբողջ տարվա կտրվածքով, ինչպես նաև այս ձնառատ օրերին մեր տեխնիկական անձնակազմը շարունակել է աշխատել ցանցի արդիականացման ուղղությամբ, ընդ որում՝ բավականին վտանգավոր պայմաններում, սակայն այս ամենն արվել է մեր բաժանորդների գոհունակությանն արժանանալու համար», - ասել է Ucom ընկերության գլխավոր տնօրեն՝ Հայկ Եսայանը:

3G ցանցը նույնպես արդիականացվել է Շիրակի մարզում, մասնավորապես՝ Արթիկ, Մարալիկ, Թալին, Սառնաղբյուր, Մուսայելյան, Հարթաշեն համայնքներում: Արդիականացում է տեղի ունեցել նաև Վայոց ձորի մարզում՝ Ջերմուկ, Կեչուտ, Հերմոն, Գողթանիկ, Արատես, Կարմրաշեն համայնքներում և վերջիններս իրար միացնող միջհամայնքային ճանապարհին: Արագածոտնի մարզում ցանցի բարելավման աշխատանքներն ավարտվել են Ապարանում, Մելիքգյուղում, իսկ Տավուշի մարզում՝ Դիլիջանի թունելում և Սևանից դեպի Դիլիջան տանող ամբողջ ճանապարհի երկայնքով:
