Մայա Պողոսյանը ամուսնու՝ Ավետիս Խախամյանի և որդու՝ Ալեքսի հետ եկտեմբերի 31-ին մեկնել է Դուբայ, որտեղ էլ դիմավորել է Նոր տարին: Մինչ այդ Tert.am Life-ը Մայային և որդուն լուսանկարել էր ամանորյա ֆոտոշարքում և զրուցել 2017 թվականը Դուբայում դիմավորելու մասին:

«Եղել են տարիներ, երբ ամուսնուս հետ այլ երկրում ենք դիմավորել Նոր տարին, սակայն որդուս ծնվելուց հետո Նոր տարին Հայաստանում էինք անցկացնում, որպեսզի որդիս տատիկների և պաիկների հետ լինի: Այս տարի մինչև մեկնելը՝ դեկտեմբերի 30-ին, տատիկ-պապիկների հետ նշեցինք Նոր տարին:  Մենք շատ ենք կարևորում ընտանիքի դերը: Ուզում եմ որդիս էլ արժեքային այդ համակարգով մեծանա»,- նշեց Մայան:

Նա նշեց, որ որոշել են Ամանորը նշել Դուբայում, քանի որ ինքն էլ, որդին էլ շատ են սիրում ամառ և ծով: «Ավելի էկզոտիկ երկրներ թռիչքը երկար է, իսկ որդիս շատ անահանգիստ է: Դուբայն ամենահարմար տարբերակն էր: Ես ու ամուսինս էլ շատ ենք սիրում Դուբայը, տարվա ընթացքում մի քանի անգամ անպայման մեկնում ենք: Ես չեմ սիրում ցուրտը: Եթե ձմեռը մեկ ամիս լիներ, կսիրեի, բայց երկար չեմ դիմանում ցրտին: Մեկ-երկու անգամ պետք է տաք երկիր մեկնեմ»,- ասաց Մայան ու հավելեց, որ շատ է սիրում բոլոր տոները, քանի որ դրանք ևս մեկ անգամ ուրախանալու առիթ են ընձեռում:
