Շամպուն ընտրելիս սրվակի վրա անպայման կարդացեք, թե ինչպիսի մազերի համար է այն նախատեսված (ճարպոտ, չոր, նորմալ): Եթե շամպունի վրա անծանոթ լեզվով է ինչ-որ բան գրված, անպայման խնդրեք վաճառողին՝ թարգմանել ձեզ համար: Աշխատեք գնել որակյալ ընկերությունների շամպուններ. խոաափեք էժանագին, կեղծված շամպուններից: Հայտնի ֆիրմաների շամպունները, ինչ խոսք, ավելի թանկ են, սակայն ձեր մազերի համար ոչինչ մի խնայեր: Նույնիսկ ամենաառողջ ու փարթամ մազերը կարող են որակազրկվել, փայլը կորցնել հենց միայն վատորակ շամպունից: էլ չենք խոսում քորի, թեփի,ալերգիայի առաջացման մասին:           

Երբ մարդիկ հիացած ձեր մազերին են նայում, դուք, անկասկած, ձեզ ավելի ինքնավստահ ու համարձակ եք զգում: Մինչդեռ ցանկացած գեղեցիկ սանրվածք կորցնում է իր    տեսքը, եթե այն սխալ ենք խնամում: Պարզվում է՝ հիմնական սխալները, որ մազերը խնամելիս ակամա անում են կանայք, երեքն են, իսկ մնացածը բխում են այդ երեքից:                Շամպուն ընտրելիս նաև հաշվի առեք՝ ձեր մազերը ներկվա՛ծ են, թե ոչ:   

Ներկված մազերի համար նախատեսվածներն ավելի հարոատ են վիտամիններով, ինչը նպաստում է մազերի որակի լավացմանն ու լրացուցիչ փայլ է հաղորղում:  Եթե ձեր մազերը չեն թեփոտվում, հակաթեփային շամպուններ չի կարելի օգտագործել. դրանք, որպես կանոն, հակառակ ազդեցությունն են թողնում:   Հակաթեփային շամպունը նախատեսված է միայն թեփ ունեցողների համար: Շամպուն գնելիս մի՛ մոռացեք ստուգել պահպանման ժամկետը: Լվանալու ընթացքում մազերը սանրել չի կարելի, տաք ջրից գլխամաշկի անոթները լայնանում են, և մազերը հեշտությամբ են պոկվում-թափվում: Սանրեք լվանալուց առաջ՝ չոր ժամանակ:    Խոնավացրեք մազերը, ապա մի քիչ շամպուն լցրեք ափի մեջ ու այն տարածեք    արմատներից դեպի ծայրերը. այսպես ավելի լավ են մաքրվում մազերը: Մազերը շամպունով լվացեք երկու անգամ:    Առաջինի նպատակը մազերի կեղտն ու փոշին լվանալն է, իսկ երկրորդ անգամն    անհրաժեշտ է, որպեսզի շամպունի բաղադրության մեջ մտնող օգտակար նյութերն ավելի լավ ներծծվեն մազերի մեջ:    Երկրորդ անգամ շամպուն քսելիս ձեռքերով միաժամանակ մերսեք գլխամաշկն այնքան ժամանակ, մինչև շամպունը լավ փրփրի: Իսկ վերջնականապես պարզաջրելուց հետո օգտվեք հնդկուհիների՝ փորձված միջոցից. մազերը պարզաջրեք նախ տաք, ապա սառը ջրով: Սա նպաստում է գլխամաշկի արյան շրջանառությանը, ինչից մազերն ավելի փայլուն ու ամուր են դառնում:
