Մինչ իշխանությունը կվայելեր հոկտեմբերի 10-ի հանրահավաքի հիասթափությունը, եռյակի ներկայացուցիչ Լեւոն Զուրաբյանն ազդարարեց հաջորդ հանրահավաքի մասին՝ հոկտեմբերի 24-ին: Իշխանական շարքերից երեկ արդեն անհանգստության նշաններ էին նկատվում՝ տարբեր մեկնաբանությունների տեսքով, կարծես թե ակտիվանում է ՀՀԿ-ն: Գրում է «Հրապարակ»-ը:

Սակայն ինչպե՞ս կարտահայտվի այդ ակտիվությունը՝ «երկրորդ մարտի 1-ի» սպառնալիքո՞վ, թե՞ ընդդիմությանն ուղղված երկխոսության առաջարկներով: Հիշեցնենք, որ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը հայտարարեց. «Վարչախմբից այլեւս սպասելիք չունենալով, այսուհետեւ մենք նրան պահանջներ կամ փոխզիջումային առաջարկներ, առավել եւս վերջնագրեր չենք ներկայացնելու: Մեր ծրագրերն ու նպատակները հստակ են, ուստի երկխոսության եւ փոխզիջումային լուծումների առաջարկները պետք է բխեն իշխանություններից: Եթե այդ առաջարկները ողջամիտ լինեն, ապա հնարավոր է, որ դրանց ընդառաջենք, իսկ եթե ոչ, ապա, գործող նախագահի օրինակով, դրանք կուղարկենք գրողի ծոցը»: Արդյոք որեւէ ողջամիտ առաջարկով հանդես կգա՞ իշխանությունը, թե՞ պատրաստ են «գրողի ծոցը» գնալու, ինչպես խոստացավ Տեր-Պետրոսյանը, երեկ փորձեցինք պարզել իշխանության ներկայացուցիչներից:

ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Վահրամ Բաղդասարյանը վրդովվեց. «Ի՞նչ փոխզիջման մասին է խոսքը, Ղարաբաղի հարցն ենք քննարկում, հա՞, որ փոխզիջում լինի, իրենք էս ժողովրդի բարեկամներն են, մենք էլ թշնամինե՞րը, որ փոխզիջման գնանք, որ ժողովրդի համար ծանր չլինի»: Ապա անդրադարձավ հիմնադիր նախագահի խոսքին. «Հա, հասկացանք, որ շատ ճկուն էր, կարողացավ էդ ամբողջն իր ձեռքում վերցնել՝ ուրիշի հանրահավաքը, ուրիշի ռեսուրսը, դիրիժորի դեր կատարել, հիմա ի՞նչ փոխզիջումների մասին է խոսքը, տրամաբանությունը չեմ հասկանում»: Հստակեցրինք Տեր-Պետրոսյանի ասածը՝ արտահերթ խորհրդարանական եւ նախագահական ընտրությունների մասին: «Ի՞նչ արտահերթի մասին է խոսքը: Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը մի խորհրդականի կարիք ունի, որ ասի՝ գնա քո առաջին նախագահը լինելու փառքը վայելի: Մենք ասում ենք՝ մեր դռները բաց են, կա՞ հարց քննարկելու, եկեք, նստենք-քննարկենք: Փոխզիջում չի կարող լինել, եթե առաջարկություններ կան, եկեք քննարկենք»:
