Ամսիներ առաջ աշխարհը ցնցեց հերթական ահաբեկչության մասին լուրը. Օռլանդո քաղաքի Pulse գիշերային գեյ-ակումբում 29-ամյա ԱՄՆ քաղաքացի Օմար Մատինը կրակ էր բացել սպանելով 50 և վիրավորելով 53 մարդու:
 
Սա իհարկե մարդու ամենակարևոր իրավունքի` ապրելու իրավունքի դեմ ուղղված սարսափելի հանցագործություն է և պետք է դատապարտվի ամբողջ աշխարհի կողմից: Բայց, քանի որ դեպքը տեղի էր ունեցել գեյ-ակումբում, այն էլ ավելի մեծ աղմուկ բարձրացրեց: Խեղճ ու կրակ, հալածված գեյերի համար առիթ էր ևս մեկ անգամ բոլորին հիշեցնել իրենց հալածյալ և անպաշտպան լինելու մասին: Ամբողջ աշխարհով նոր թափ առան համասեռամոլների իրավունքների պաշտպանությանն ուղղված շարժումներն ու միջոցառումները: Նոր գրանտներ «կպցնելու» համար պարարտ հող ստեղծվեց: Դե Ֆեյսբուքն էլ գիտեք, աշխարհի ամենահանդուրժող ու անհանդուրժող մարդկանց հանդիպման վայրն է: Սկսվեցին մարտեր առանց կանոնների «Այդ ալյասերվածներին տեղն էր» ու «գեյերը նույնպես մարդիկ են» լոզունգները կրողների միջև: Հայերը ևս զերծ չմնացին քննարկումներից: Մեր մեջ էլ բավականին շատ ազատամիտ իրավունքների պաշտպաններ գտնվեցին: Բայց այսօր նրանց մասին չէ, որ ուզում եմ խոսել: Ուզում եմ անդրադառնել Հայաստանը գեյ լինելու պատճառով լքած ու իրեն ԱՄՆ-ում այլասերված վայելքներին տված Էռնեստ The Best-ի մասին: Սույն արարածը, ով իր մազերի մանուշակագույն երանգը և ոչ ավանդական սեռական կողմնորոշումը չընդունողներին հետամնացներ անվանելով, իր համար ԱՄՆ մեկնելու կանաչ լույս ստացավ, արդեն 4-5 օր է մեր կյանքը կերավ: Աշխարհի տակ միասեռականներին պաշտպանող տեսանյութ չմնաց, որ լացակումած սմայլիկներով իր էջում չկիսվեց: Հասկացանք, էռնեստ, մի հատ էլ ճակատիդ գրիր սեռական կողմնորոշմանդ մասին:
 
Ես չեմ ուզում Ֆեյսբուք մտնեմ ու տեսնեմ համբուրվող տղամարդկանց լուսանկարներ, ազատիր մեզ քո անտանելի ներկայությունից:
