Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Վահե Նիկոյանի հրավիրած աշխատանքային քննարկման ժամանակ ներկայացվել է մայրաքաղաքի Արշակունյաց պողոտայի և Նժդեհի փողոցի հատվող խաչմերուկում («Հայրենիք» կինոթատրոնի հրապարակ) տրանսպորտային հոսքերի բեռնաթափման նպատակով հանգույցի կառուցման համար մշակված նախագիծը: Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են Երևանի գլխավոր ճարտարապետը, Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի աշխատակազմի տրանսպորտի ոլորտի պատասխանատուներ, ՃՈ Երևան քաղաքի վարչության և «Երևանի կառուցապատման ներդրումային ծրագրերի իրականացման գրասենյակ» ՀՈԱԿ-ի ներկայացուցիչներ, ճարտարապետներ:

Ըստ երթևեկելի գոտիների` ուսումնասիրվել է ծանրաբեռնված ժամերին տրանսպորտային հոսքերի քանակը: Նախագծի հեղինակ, ճարտարապետ Գևորգ Մուշեղյանը նշել է, որ հաշվի առնելով տեղանքի ճարտարապետությունը՝ մշակվել է անընդհատ երթևեկություն ապահովող ճանապարհային հանգույց՝ շրջադարձերի հնարավորությամբ: 
Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Վահե Նիկոյանը, ընդգծելով մայրաքաղաքի բնակիչների համար խնդրի լուծման կարևորությունը, նշել է, որ ծրագիրը ներառված է Երևան քաղաքի գլխավոր հատակագծում: 
«Երևան քաղաքի շրջանցիկ ճանապարհի ստեղծման համատեքստում նաև խնդիր էինք դրել լուծել Արշակունյաց պողոտա-Նժդեհի փողոց հանգույցի կառուցման հարցը: Հաշվի առնելով դրա ծանրաբեռնվածությունն ու խնդիրները՝ «Քաղաքային կայուն զարգացման ներդրումային ծրագրերի» շրջանակում կազմվել էր նախագիծ, որով նախատեսվում էր էստակադայի կառուցում, ինչը, սակայն, հաշվի առնելով տվյալ հատվածի քաղաքաշինական միջավայրը, ճարտարապետների կողմից չընդունվեց: Քննարկումներ եղան նաև քաղաքաշինական խորհրդում: Արդյունքում ներկայում առաջարկվող տարբերակն ընդունելի է թե՛ ճարտարապետների կողմից և թե՛ կառուցման համար իրականացված խոշորացված հաշվարկով»,- նշել է Վահե Նիկոյանը:
