Այսօր լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ Քաղաքական եւ միջազգային հետազոտությունների հայկական կենտրոնի փորձագետ Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանը, խոսլով ներքաղաքական զարգացումների մասին, հանդես եկավ ոչ սովորական համեմատականներով. «Ակնհայտ է, որ իշխանության մեջ կան առնվազն մրցակցող ազդեցության խմբեր, երկրորդ՝ ինքը՝ իշխանությունը, իր համար ուզում է այնպիսի մրցակից ընտրել, որն իր պայմաններով կգա ու կմրցակցի իր հետ, դրա դիմաց կստանա ինչ-որ մի բան, բայց, բնականաբար, իշխանությունը բոլոր պարագաներում կմնա հաղթող՝ ինչպես մարտը՝ բռնցքամարտիկի եւ առաստաղից կախված տանձի միջեւ: Իշխանությունը որոշել է, թե ով է լինելու տանձ Nօ 1-ը, տանձ Nօ 2-ը»,-ասաց նա հավելելով. «Հենց իշխանությունն ուզում է կանխել երրորդ ուժերի մուտքը, ինչի համար էլ ամբողջ պրոցեսը վերածում է կրկեսի: Բացի դրանից, մենք տեսնում ենք, որ քաղաքական գործընթացը՝ նախընտրական պայքարը, զուրկ է քաղաքական բովանդակությունից: Մենք հիմա ականատեսն ենք քաղաքական պրոցեսի ապաքաղաքականացման, եւ ընտրությունը՝ չընտրության վերածելուն, որի գլխավոր շահառուն իշխանությունն է»:

Ռուբեն Մեհրաբյանը նշեց նաեւ, որ իշխանությունից հեռացած պաշտոնյաները մնում են իշխանական բուրգի մեջ, գործող համակարգում. «Քանի կարմիր գծերը հատված չեն, կա որոշակի ազատության միջանցք, որի մեջ կգործեն այդ անձինք: Երբ փորձեն հատել կարմիր գծերը, իշխանությունը նրանց գլխին «կբամփի»: Մենք տեսնում ենք, որ նաեւ ՀՀԿ տարբեր ներկայացուցիչներ բարյացակամությամբ են արտահայտվում այդ մարդկանց նկատմամբ»,-ասաց նա:
